Hehe, first post here.

We just purchased our 2005 EVO off the showroom floor last week from the gal (Rachael) and she was pretty nice. Drove up from Indy because they only had 20 miles on the silver one on the showroom floor. (now nobody tell me how that 20 miles was spent diving through creek beds)

I was just teasing that with the EVO's turn radius they'd never get it out of the showroom before we all choked to death, and some guy (did he have dark spiked hair?) got in my face and said "do you REALLY believe these things can't corner?". What an idiot. Had to explain how a car can corner well and have an awful turn radius. Hell, I also have a C5 Vette with track ducting....I know all about the wide turn radius cars.

Stopped by to buy some oil filter for my car & there is a white evo 9 MR in the show room. I went & checked the sticker price & on the side of it has another sticker mark up of $2500.00 claimed as a marketing adjustment. I can't believe they are still marking up the evo's over the sticker price. I guess that is why they still have a lot 05's left on the lot.

i bought mine from schaumburg mitsu. They are total dumbasses too. Good that i had my father with me at the time, cuz....
I came to the dealership, and asked what Evos they had. So we went to the service section where they had them all, and i was like hmmm.... which one and i randomly picked the silver one. Hes like, i hope you know that with great power comes great responsibility... and im like wtf... you learn quotes from movies?? that came from spiderman... anyway, i said that it is going to be MINE. THEY WOUDLNT LET ME DRIVE IT cuz i wasnt 21. WTF... first i cant drive her cuz i gotto sign papers, and then i cant drive it cuz im not 21. WHAT DIFFERENCE is it gonna make anyway, i'll be 21 in 3 months... i dont think i'll get any smarter. Anyway thanx to my pops he scared the crap out of that sales guy. My father used to drive in a amateur rally class in poland, so he knows how to drive very well. Seeing sales guys face after the ride made me laugh... he hasnt spoken to me until I DROVE her out of there. I believe that mitsu could sell cars if sales ppl were such stuck up, knowing **** wanna bees.

end.

I had a fun experience at Libertyville Mitsu. They wrecked my little sister's car. She had her 95 Eclipse there for a tune-up, and one of their porters backed a montero into it and smashed the whole front end. I had been thinking about an EVO for sometime, so while I was there making sure they fixed her car right, I decided to check out the EVO. I ran into the same salesman (Eric, who no longer works there but has moved to a different rhorman dealership. I know this thanks to the very useful card he sent me 10 months after I didn't buy a car from him). I knew I wanted the MR, and he gave me all kinds of song and dance about how much above sticker it was going to take to get one (without actually giving any numbers I might add). Then he called me about six times a day for the next two days after I took a test drive. I'm quite glad I decided to buy my MR down in Florida. If anyone is willing to make the trip, I strongly recomend RC Hill Mitsu in Deland, FL. They even offer EVOs with tuning packages. You can get a lightly modded RS pretty cheap. Oh, and before I forget, I would not recomend buying a used EVO from Libertyville. Even if the original owner wasn't hard on the car, I can tell you the people at the dealer were.

Yeah, i wouldnt get a car from libertyville mitsu. I test drove an 03 evo and the car had no gas in it. The the guy who tried to sell me the car told me all evo's come standard with turbo timers even though you can clearly tell they were all aftermarket.
