Guys,

IF we don't hear something useful from WORKS about re-pricing their P2 by MONDAY, I believe we should all SERIOUSLY begin discussing the possibility of going with a different re-flash vendor for the dyno day at AXIS on November 1st...

Their new product is extremely overpriced compared to their competition, and their complete lack of a response on this issue is only making the case worse for them.

If we are going to make a change in vendors, we have to make it SOON... we are running out of time for our November 1st date, and WORK's oppurtunity to make this right is vanishing just as quickly...

Just my opinion,

Spike

N10S, I will be bringing Martin from AMS, he wants to see what he can throw down on an AWD dyno. Just wondering if his was okay?

Thanks

If we are going to hear anything, I think it will be soon. Lets see what materializes. If there is new data lets re-evaluate the info, and then I think we bounce the group and find out if people are on or off. I think Monday is a reasonable time frame to get a collective re-cast.

I don't want things to vanish into to thin air either, and time is slowly ticking away. Thanks for expressing your comments and concerns, as I am certain they reflect the general consensus of uncertainty at this point.

AMS exaust is very NICE. A little pricey but its well worth it, i have gotten nothing but compliments about the sound.

Correct me if I'm wrong - but we put down a REFUNDABLE 25% ($112) deposit on the $449 cost of the P1, correct?

Besides the fact the P1 is now priced at $500 for some odd reason, are we supposed to be going with the P2 now?

Or is it our decision between the P1 and P2?

boomn29-

You are correct. The original deal was to call in a 25% refundable deposit based on the original price of the P1 reflash. This was done to get things going, and to provide some kind of reference point of cost since we didn't have any pricing or performance info yet for the P2.

The primary focus of the gb was actually the P2 boost control re-flash, but any other Works products including the P1 were/are eligible for the gb discount.

RENN-ART, Sano, and anyone else that is interested. The dyno day is still open, so let me know if you are going to make the trip and I will put you on the list.

Cost will be somewhat determined by the number of participants, and should be in the $50-60 range worse case scenario. This gb issue is creating some level of uncertainty regarding who's in or out for the gb, and the dyno day/gtg. We are going to get that straightened out by tomorrow hopefully and then we will have a better idea of total participants. Right now it looks like about 12-15 folks for sure.
