It sounds like you have something planned out for Cedar falls a couple of weekends from now, I'd definitely be up for that as well.

If we get a few folks together, we can head over to PowerWerks outside of Chicago and get Dyno'd/Tuned, weekends are by appoitnment only. If your interested in that, I'd definitely like to check that out sometime soon. I definitely could use the tune as I'm running a little rich to be on the safe side.

We'd have to get 10 folks together for a group tune discount, so if any other Iowa/Illinois Evo guys are reading this thread, post and we'll try to get a roster going.

 

There's an Evolution AWD dyno day coming up in Kansas City on August 27th at Dieman Motorsports. It's going to be $50 for 2 pulls and $75 for an hour to tune.

Omaha is only 2... maybe 2 1/2 hours away from Des Moines even less if you travel faster than 70mph.

 

I'd be up for a dyno day, but it's gonna have to be awhile, I have a lot of race days the next few months so I'll be mostly out of town.

I have the Vishnu stage 1+ and Xede with S.M.A.R.T. coming in about a week so yea I'll be having an install weekend real soon

well aright i've got all you guys beat because i live in Blue Grass, Iowa.. (expections of rgonyer since he lives in blue grass too).

a nice lil town on the outskirts of davenport. luckily its not to horrible of a drive to dsm (des moines), chi-town (chicago), iowa city and etc.

we should definitely get together and all have a meet for all us mitsubishi owners on evolutionm. i mean **** its worth a shot to try and get something together we all live near each other anyways.

anywho if any of you all wanna talk im me or message me. i've a racing chick that loves her oz. i run it in the quarter and i get down and dirty and work on her too. my cars name is Lily and shes one fun 5 speed to drive. <3

Bringing this thread back to life...

Anyone have the xede and smart installed? I have all my stuff sitting here and there are a bunch of wires. Doesn't look too bad but figured I'd ask the Iowa people for any tips. I'm gonna start the install this week along with the cams, cam gears and fuel pump. The ecu is shipping to Vishnu Monday to get flashed back to stock and have them set it up for the xede/smart.
