Manual, I never drive in auto.

I wanted to add another thing to consider as well. At the track the SST will overheat in S-Sport Manual quicker than Sport Manual and Normal as well.

From my motorcycle experience 10+, its very very hard to wear out these types of clutches. Just maintain a good driving habit and all will be well

I think its the other way around... with ASC on it will overheat the tranny quicker because its slipping the clutches more often to maintain traction. Try S-Sport / OFF or OFF OFF and see if the heating issue goes away.

+1, a viscous clutch, driven conservatively, can last damn near forever in the life of a motorcycle, so I'd imagine it's similar in at least some aspects, such as this, to the sst.

now if someone would please just show me how to drive this thing conservatively...

I used to think the same thing when i first got my car. But one thing is for sure in manual/normal there no shift shock but is manual/ss the whole car jerks with the shifts. I had the opportunity to drive a f430 with the f1 transmission and the one thing i noticed was how violently that car shifted and i was very disappointed with the mr until i put it in ss and noticed the "shock", though not as violent as the Ferrari, its hard to say if the Ferrari was noticeably faster than the sst.
