JRZ race shocks are coming!

we have set SCCA lap records at Thunderhill (1:57.5 with cyclone) Infineon (1:45.2) and Laguna Seca (1:37.1) all on the Motons with a rookie driver who had never raced on any of these tracks before this season. Our improvements over our first events at Laguna and Thunderhill are even more amazing, as we went from running a best lap of the weekend last April at Laguna of 1:43.3 to running consistent 1:37s. At Thunderhill for Kent's first event there, our best time was 2:04.9 with cyclone, now we can run in the 1:57s consistently.
As far as EVO lap times at these race tracks, Moton is the way to go if you want to spend time driving on the fastest set-up, and focusing the rest of your time on motor tuning and driving technique. We have Club Sports in stock, and our next set of Motorsport dampers is about 10 days away.
Comparing remote reservoir dampers to non-remote reservoir style is not a fair comparison, as all serious road racing cars globally have remote reservoir shocks, due to their superior ability to dissapate heat.

External reservoirs not only have the benefit of dissapating heat, which is mostly handled by the shock body by the way, but also act as a foot valve, almost like a twin tube shock, which believe it or not does have advantages over conventional monotube designs. Being that the JRZ does have this reservoir, you get the best of both world, the compression adjustment of a twin tube, and the heat dissapation, weight, and damping sensativity of a monotube.

So why is everyone hijacking this guy's thread? I understand your desire to correct any misinformation, but most of you have gone well beyond that. If your a competitor, go start your own thread and spout away.
no hi-jax...I even helped Max out with his set-up and have continued to answer his questions..provide support.. too bad there isn't an EVO shoot out theis year..finally enough developed cars to make the next one interesting.....
Hey all,
I'll be looking forward to seeing you all at the track this weekend, and many thanks to you Robi for helping me set up my car, it works amazingly well. I've impressed quite a few people with the way the car handles, and put the fear of the Evo into them!
I have no problem with people discussing information about shocks in this thread, that's partially why I started it, a bit of a questions and answers post for people who want to go that extra mile in terms of our car's handling. I did not however intend on people trying to advertise in my post, not exactly what you'd call the best business ethics, but I don't make the rules, I simply follow them. I don't like to call people out, so I won't, but if you fellow sellers are interested in letting the public know about your product, please don't use my post as a vehicle to do so, you have a whole forum to do that with.
O and one more thing, again I give 2 thumbs up to Robi, the man knows his stuff and I can't recomend any better place to take your evo for his spec alignment and fender rolling.
Regards,
Max Cudich

Heres a graph of the rebound adjustment. They're from Protrac shocks which are also the same as JRZ and happens to be JRZ's parent company.
