Tranny Fluid

Right now in my car I am running Redline 75W140 and have been satisfied, it's a nice medium between gear protection and easy shifting.
For those using OEM fluid in the transmission, where are you buying it from? I got the same info from my dealer that they have a 5 gallon drum. He was willing to sell it to me in smaller quantities but I am not sure I trust them as he said they too use the same fluid in the tranny, t/c and diff.
Reason being, I have already changed the diff and T/C using the diaqueen LSD and I put in the BG synchroshift 2 in the tranny and I think the car shifts like crap. I can feel every shift, it sometimes sticks in gear and generally is worse than it was before I changed it from the stock fluid. Anyone else experience this? Granted, I am spoiled because my other car is a turbo miata and that thing shifts like butter but I don't remember having problems with the evo before the bg2.
Thanks.

Seeing that someone else has resurrected this thread, WHAT IS IN THE DIAQUEEN?
I mean, I keep hearing horror stories and actually has a friend experienced at tc dying before my eyes. Now everyone, including myself use the Mitsu oils and apart from the Motul (which imo is still unconfirmed), there is really no alternative.
So, as said, what the heck makes the Disqueen so special? Sure Mistbishi has the stuff made for them by an oil company, so who is it? I just scares me to think that the evo uses an oil unique to it...

According to the shop manual, the transfer case requires that you use a straight SAE 90 hypoid gear oil. Jon@TRE (gears) stressed how important the hypoid part is because it protects the teeth on the ring and pinion gears.
This will apply to your evo as well, hypoid is a designation of way the ring and pinion gears contact each other in the diff, your's are the same.
I have had NO problems with redline heavy weight shockproof in the tc, John Sheperd recomends OEM or redline hw shockproof only also.

^ I understand about the hypoid thing. What I'm concenred with is the AYC and S-AYC difference. I'm not entirely sure if the components such as friction plates and so forth in there require anything special. IIRC there is a physical difference (rather than an electronic one) between the AYC and S-AYC and the different mechanisms prehaps require different oils?
