I put the Sparco Fighter in my Evo but took it out. I have it for sale if anyone wants it It is complete with bottom mount brackets and slider. I don't know if the slider was assembled using the incorrect spacers or what but I felt like I sat up too high. It also isn't good to use with the stock seatbelts as the side bolsters are snug against the side pillar. I weighed my stock seat assembly and the Fighter assembly with slider. etc. and there was right at a 10lb difference.

Dont forget, at the pro your 60' time didnt subtract your reaction time. So if you were getting a 2.4 and your RT was a .6?? you were at a 1.8 60'.

At the Pro, my co-driver and I ran regular 2.6-2.8s in our M3, fyi (RT + 60').

Riley, I know you were getting used to the new-found grip but you have WAY more still left in the car. You had an impressive finish, but Gonz ran a dirty 44.491 this past weekend in his STI.

By the way, what is your front and rear camber set at? Also, your tires look like they are flexing all over the place.

my alignment was way off this weekend, the car is getting some tlc from vesko this week in prep for next weekend. i think i was at -2.8 on one side and -3.0 the other side. the rear is right at -1.7 i think. the big problem is that i had like .25 toe! getting that fixed also. plus my kw's were literally eating my camber plates so vesko is dealing with that too. thanks for the adice on the tires, i will go with higher pressures next time, i was at 32 on all 4 this weekend and the car felt fine enough to me i will try 35 psi next weekend

jon my comment with the 60 foot time was i couldnt believe that it was that slow, not that it was a fast time...

my goal this week is top time of day, hopefully i can drive that

what is everyone else running tire pressure wise?
i have a 275/40/17...

i am guessing that that cone gonzo took out helped him out a lot because that run was what, 1.2 seconds faster than all of the rest of them? that would have put him right at the lotus??

I ran a local event last weekend in a really dirty lot (lots of sand and pebbles and debris) that was also bumpy. Had a couple ridges running the length of the course that we had to traverse. Workers of the heat I ran said my splitter was actually scraping coming over some of the transitions.

All in all a good day. 1st time out with big power and a new rear differential (Thanks TRE!) and I had FTD by a few tenths not counting F125. Believe it or not I had LESS tire spin issues on corner exit than I did with 160 less ft# of torque and the stock diffs. PAX results weren't too good though. Seems like Stock class cars had an advantage possibly due to the roughness of the track and their stock huge suspension travel. There were times when both my rear wheels were off the ground!! My car is definitely set up for smooth asphalt or concrete rather than rally-style bumps!

is there a world record for longest stoppie in a car?

we have a lot like that here. its so bumpy it siezed my buddies coilover. It was kinda fun to drive though cause the car felt so loose over the bumps.

There's pictures of it all over the place from the DSM/EVO shootout a couple weeks ago.

It's the red car, 2nd picture down with the ginormous wing.

Thanks! It's taken alot of time, hard work, setbacks, and $$ to get it where it is today. I basically had to go through a full build on my last EVO (04 with SSL) before I figured out exactly what I needed. We finally got the car development "finished" (at least for this year). We don't plan on making any changes between now and Nationals. All the rest of the changes I would make are big $$ and will require quite a bit of testing and tuning. I'll save those for next year if I stick with SM.

The car sure is a blast to drive. Best part is, after the season is over I'll put the stock seats back in, throw on some snow tires, take off the aero stuff and some of the graphics, and it will be my daily driver.

Depending on how things go this year at Nationals, this car may be built to run XP in 2008. Full cage, carbon doors, remove glass, etc. . .
