McLaren Stripped of Constructors
I am enjoying it to the fullest. I just can't wait for McLaren to dissapear. Here are my reasons:
1) I am very glad that now Fernando Alonso can leave that nasty and stinky corrupted team. The current contract specifies that if there is an event in which it negatively affect the image of its drivers they will be compensated aqnd allow to leave.
2) deleted ofensive comment.
3) Lewis Hamilton will not have a team to go, Alonso already planned for it many months ago and had multiple offers
deleted other ofensive comments.
Oh by the way, what happened on the first curve/chicane at Monza? did hamilton went off the road and cut in front of Massa and did not yield his position like the regulations says? always playing dirty... If you know anything about formula one you know exactly what I mean. He cut in front of Massa and never gave his position. No wonder why he unfairly earned 2 points that can make the difference at the end of the championship.
And what about at the start on the straight, he knows how to psuh Massa out of the way very well...

Ditto Nils.
Also, to Carlos (man you take this stuff WAAAY too seriously) Maybe Lewis had nothing to share, ie, was not involved in the espionage, the way alonzo was. I believe that Alonzo should be barred from the championship for KNOWINGLY useing ill-gained info.

What about Alonso’s part in all this?

This is the most interesting aspect of the story for me. On one level I think Alonso, having been shown to have been involved with the illicit material, is lucky to keep his drivers’ championship points.
What condemned McLaren was the email traffic between him and de la Rosa (as well as a report from the Italian communication police regarding the volume and timing of email, phone and text traffic between Stepney and Coughlan).
The $100 million question all week has been, “How did the emails come to the FIA’s attention?”
Dennis has now confirmed that once he learned of the emails, from Alonso on the morning of the Hungarian GP, he himself told Mosley about them, because he did not want it to come from anyone else.
But what was Alonso trying to achieve by confronting Ron with the emails on that Sunday morning?
Apparently Dennis explained to the WMSC that Alonso had some demands, which are not hard to imagine, but Dennis refused to satisfy them. When this all comes out next week, it will probably look quite bad for Alonso.
I think Ron comes out of it quite well, albeit that it shows he did not have the control over his team on which he prided himself.
He is determined to win the drivers’ championship and all the signs are that despite Alonso’s behaviour he will be given an equal chance to win the title, like Lewis.
McLaren has a precedent here; in 1989 Dennis and Alain Prost fell out, but Prost was still given a winning car and beat his team-mate Ayrton Senna to the title before leaving for Ferrari the next year. Not many teams would behave like that.
Crucially, history will show that Alonso’s meeting with Dennis came after the qualifying episode in Hungary, where first Lewis disobeyed team orders and then Alonso blocked him at the end of the session and was penalised.
That brought things to a head between Alonso and Dennis.
Alonso’s relationship with the team has now totally broken down and it is impossible to imagine him driving a McLaren next year.
He may move back to Renault, or propose some sort of mega-deal to Toyota. BMW seems closed off and although certain top men at Ferrari would like to hire him to replace Massa, Todt is on the record as saying he will never drive a Ferrari after he snubbed Todt and signed up with Renault and Briatore in 2001.

The full details of exactly what happened are here:

My view is that on the basis of these facts the fine is grossly excessive - loss of points and a reasonable fine would have been far more appropriate.

. Latin Flight attendants!!
Alonso and De la Rosa were the only ones that were sharing the info from Ferrari, Hamilton had nothing to do with it. He cooperated with the FIA, he just wasn't involved like the other two.
Also, McLaren will most likely be able to contend for the constructors in 2008, and no one has ever made any mention of 2009. Where do people get this stuff???
Lastly, Hamilton was forced to cut the chicane @ turn 1 in Monza, he was forced over by Massa. Thus resulting in no penalty.

Not even close... I am just being sarcastic as it gets. Sorry if I went to deep, I am not like that at all in person.
Carlos
And you can continue to SUCK ALONSO's as you have been doing all along. The guy will never be respected in F1...never after what he did. It goes to answer my question about him being threatened by Hamilton The Rookie. CARLOS you along with ALONSO showed your true colors

You know I wasn't serious
, it is a exageration. So answer me this then:What happened after the first Chicane at Monza? how come Hamilton did not gave up the position(2pts) he stole from Massa by magically skipping the second turn at the chicane? You did not see that one?
Things like that don't go unnoticed. Just like Alonso was penalize with 5 positions for following team orders Hamilton was gievn the favor of not loosing a spot for passing in a chicane. Further more he was also being"aid" when his car had to be lifted out of the gravel that time he crashed agaisnt the barrier.
How many cars had Kimi, Massa or Hamilton already crashed? a few, how many had Alonso crashed? Zero.

Ok, if you said so.. I seen it like he wanted to pass Massa no matter what and he simply ran out of room thus it was too late for him to turn..
As per the sentence, the newspaper source said that it was very likely to be 2 seasons(2007-2008) but they finally decided it was going to be only 2007(for now)

I don't think McLaren should be penalized for a Ferarri employee giving them information. It's not as if they broke into the scuderia and stole it. And if Alonzo really did the stuff he's rumored to have done, he's a dirty rat and should lose his ride. What kind of loser feels the need to blackmail his way into the championship? He can hang onto his precious car settings all he wants, because it's only a matter of time till Hamilton figures it out for himself. If Alonzo was really that much better than Hamilton, he would be schooling his teammate rather than chasing him, despite any minute advantages there may be to being british on a british team. i mean. i say join a spanish team or shut it. he is the one who jumped ship. he knew what team he was joining. i have lost all respect for the guy, who i used to enjoy watching when he was showing MS what a young brave driver in the right car can do. but now that the tables have turned, he can't handle it like an adult....
