McLaren Stripped of Constructors
And by the way, I'm also very happy about the FIA's decision on McLaren. Alonso is way smarter than what I thought. It's payback now.
^^Sergio,
Thanks for defending but I think that perhaps I started it all with some hardcore comments that made a couple of people upset. I sent a couple of private messages to ask some people to "smooth out" their responses as well.
I deleted the content that I thought it was inappropiate so this shouldn't scalate more that what need to be.

j/kDoes Alonso know how you feel?
On a lighter note, one thing that gives me comfort in any of this is that it's one more thing F1 does bigger and better than NASCRAP...there is no team in any american "top tier" racing series that could even dream about having a $100M budget, let alone being able to pay that much in fines. That's a tenth of a billion dollars! I'm sure lots of countries couldn't handle a fine like that, let alone a racing team lol.

He tried to run the man off the road. If it was the old spa it would have been good night for Hamilton. In all honesty the whole Mclaren team is taking what that Spainard did well. If I was Lweis and he did that I would have taken him out, since I am ahead of him in points anyway......and NO MORE CONTRUCTORS for the team.

You LH lovers are always bringing brilliant excuses. Alonso is just two points shy from winning his third consecutive championship and the spoiled rookie and all of his followers are already ****ting in their pants. I'm enjoying this.
Holy cow, this is even better F1 drama than the most outrageous crap Schumi brought to the show (like losing all his points in 1997 for intentionally trying to take out JV in the last and decisive GP at Jarama).
Personally, I saw this feud, and it's likelihood to go ballistic, between Alonso and Hamilton early on. While certainly extremely talented, LH benefitted greatly from a car and team that clearly benefitted from Alonso coming from Renault (where is Renault is his absence?). Certainly more than vice versa. IMO LH was also less than gracious about receiving this benefit which probably pissed Alonso off more than Hamilton actually being faster at times. And you can bet Ron Dennis promoted and encouraged this due to his great investment in LH. I am surprised it took so long for Alonso to ask or demand stoppage of the tech info sharing with his teammate. Which by the way, for any of you who have missed it, has been quite effective. Plus, Ron Dennis has a track record of fostering (or is it festering) this kind of intra-team dynamic. What happened to Alonso in Hungary was wayyyy wrong, but his reaction in apparently blackmailing his own team is going to leave a permenant stain. The fine and FOCA points loss for McClaren for the whole season is over the top and few in the F1 paddock agree with it.
The rest of the season is going to be damn exciting. After Alonso put Hamilton off track at Spa, the gloves are totally off. These guys are going make contact and put one another out of a race before the season is over. Senna and Prost all over again. It is going to be some great racing especially with Ferrari returning to form and Kimi the ice man still in the WDC points mix. Another win by Kimi and dnfs for the McClaren boys when they take each other out and we have a 3-three way driver points battle rarely seen in F1.
Cheers

CH4MAN you have valid points, I dont mind a little inter team rivalry, but I dont think Alonso saw this coming (LH) and his behavior ever since has been out of control. First in Hungary, now at SPA. He clearly blocked LH. In the US Grand Prix LH did block FA.... by holding his line not trying to run the man off the road. I am not even going to talk about the attempted black mail. I have no repsect for the boy! BTW TO ALL YO FA FANS. If he was not so threatned by LH. Why does he want Lewis off the team, making those crazy demands to Ron Dennis.
