2008 BSP Discussion
When i had it set last year(planning on doing it in the next week or two) it was -2* camber, 0 toe.
and by cutting the tire, I do mean a groove that is cut into the very outer edge of the tire, and I made sure its not rubbing the fender arch.

Like you, that is on my checklist. Unfortunately the finances have been tighter the last year than desired, so thats still on the to do list.

Currently Im running 275/40s on stock wheels, and have noticed that at full lock my tires will actually rub through the liner and has hit a seam on the body, which I had to massage with a BFH to prevent cutting. I was wondering if anyone else is running into this, or if there might be a problem I am unaware of. I do run a very small spacer that allowed the tires to clear my stock suspension, and have recently added coilovers though it appears I will still need the spacers. anyone experience this?
^yes you can, although I personally would go with a 245/40-17.
maybe someone can chime in that I am completely wrong...
a 255 is pinched a little to much for my liking however many many people run them

I love the 255/40/17 on my BBS rims. My tire of choice is the Nitto NT01.
I wouldn't want to go any shorter on my 9 because gearing is already too low.
I've also heard some people running 245/45/17 have rubbing issues because the tire is too tall.

thats sounds like a nice setup mmmmmmm NTo1 and BBS....
sorry for OT
My car had 255 RA1s on it when I bought it, the right side rubbed the liner uncovering the oil cooler
I then DD'd a set of 235/40s which had no rubbing
I first bought a set of 245/40 which fit well with little or no rubbing, but it took 45 psi to prevent them from rolling extremely far, too little too late and they corded the outer edge after 25 runs.
Now Im running 275/40 Avons to autox with, with before mentioned rubbing.
DDing a set of 245/45 Kumhos (same outer diameter as the 275s) so I do notice some rubbing

I am fully aware which tires are not appropriate for the BSP class.
If I had a BSP car I would be on 285/30-18 710s, not street tires.
However my next set of tires will probably be NTo1s for the street/HPDE's.
