Interesting... Has no one figured out how to reflash that thing with ECUflash yet?

Most current thread I could find:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...acd-rom-5.html

I would think the problem would be even if we could flash it ourselves, not sure anyone has a base map to load.

I think this is the easiest way for now - esp for our specific usdm cars
Is there any restrictions on this in terms of auto-x classes? I wonder how dramatically this changes the behavior of the car compared to a JDM IX with AYC

For those of you interested in how the ACD system makes use of the different inputs from the car, if you download the software from MoTeC, you can see how thier 4 different strategies (settings) vary. I'm sure the flashes do something similar, but every company has thier own theory on what works best. In any case, its kind of neat to see how some maps resemble others: http://www.motec.com/mdc/mdcdownload/

BTW, I've got an extra ACD diff box that I'm not using so if anyone's wanting to keep a stock unit and then swap in a race one on the weekends...make an offer.

How come more people aren't excited about this? Isn't this a pretty big development

I wonder the same thing, unless it's not legal for any type of racing.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been any track testing yet. The only testing done so far are on the local members cars on the street.

Once I see some more testing on this I am going to hop all over it. I really want my back end to comply more.

Depending on how well this turns out, this could be killer for CT9A's. We used to have to worry about getting on the gas midcorner because of the understeer... Now we might have to worry about the oversteer! lol
Sorry, I've just been ready for something like this to develop for a few years now. With a trick center diff I think the evo can definitely comply as willingly as evo x's and the rear biased sti's

I agree, i'd rather flash my ACD and be able to tune it like a sway bar then have to take my rear diff out and ship it off for upgrades.

Looks like there's been a breakthrough on this via ecuflash:
