. im only on 17's tho.
i need to step my splitter up a bit length wise, but i actually think the low height helped it be more efficient. theres about 1 inch of clearance to the ground...i scrape that thing everywhere. theres two bolts sticking out a half inch on the bottom so i hit those first and it actually helps to lift it up a little lol.

that number/livery was martin truex circa 2010, which unfortunately wasnt who was driving lol. but it was a full blown cup car with 800hp and all. owner/driver was a cool guy, said he used to track a viper...wish i had had a second to ask him how he acquired that car.
I think your eyes are tricking you because of the splitter/side guard height. I don't think it's any lower than mine and my splitter has less than an inch of ground clearance.
