EVOLUTION DYNAMICS unlimited Time Attack Build!
All three of us at Evolution Dynamics work full time day jobs, and we work on evos from about 8pm till about 1 or 2am..... usually monday weds friday and saturday.... but some times more.....
Kevin and I are both Married so it gets pretty rough from time to time, but the "bosses" understand for the most part hahahahaHAHAHA how true that is.... track days usually work like this for....
Work like crazy all week, trying to keep up with standard customers, but at the same time inspect everyones car, get all the "last min" mods and tunes done for everyone, and LATE friday night, quick oil change, track prep on our own cars.....

Yep. Last weekend we were up until 3:30am getting our personal cars ready after knocking out customers cars. Nothing like 2 hours of sleep before hiiting a wet track
We were sealing the sunroof on the M3 at the track...I think everyone is ready for ECR now though, minus a set of brake pads and wheel bearings for myself.
Well its 4mins till one.... I got the first round of sanding the roof done... its looking pretty good, unfortunately its going to need one more round of bond to get everything smooth, it warped a little bit when i sealed up the sun roof. This is just temporary, this winter the car is getting a full carbon roof, but we cant have a wavy roof!
I got the drivers side seat 90% done so thats exciting!
A few local guys, Jim and Andrew came and helped out tonight, the got the rotors and pads changed, and also pulled off those crappy brake heaters... I mean brake shields....
I think kevin is going to post up some pictures he took today..... we keep forgetting the camera.... good thing we have cameras on cellphones now or it would be like having a child grow up and missing all the years before they could walk.... haha
The car is really shaping up. It wont look pretty until after this winter but it will certainly be together and looking good for its shake down event this coming weekend..... we hope anyway....
We are thinking about painting the hood roof and trunk white and calling it "The Banana Split" for now... you only get to have fun with it once...... after its painted for real its all over with... so why not! We are even thinking of painting a cherry on top HAHAHA

^what he said
here are the pictures.
denver sealed up the roof and began to bondo it so its smooth and can be painted:

denver also got most of the driver side seat bolted down. he cut up the stock rails and lifted then to the correct angle and boxed the new mounts with sheet metal.

jim trimmed the rear fenders so our big tires would fit. he also finished the rear pad install, and andrew did the front pads and performance friction rotors, and removed the dust covers:

hahaha

andrew also removed the evap system from under the trunk, it weighs 8lbs
richard mounted the trunk back in place and made it fit
tomorrow we are bolting the head to the block and assembling the long block the rest of the way. denvers going to finish the seats and belts, and begin tying down the wiring harness. Jims got some more grinding to do, we have rear doors that need to be gutted, and tabs all over the roof that need to come off.

This is a real NTEC community project. I had to check my glasses when I saw Jim with a grinder in hand.
Good luck with the build. It will be fun to watch the finished project on track.
