Guessing most the othe ST* classes ran in less wet conditions? times definitely didn't look great for STU at this tour.

wet for heat one, drying towards the end of heat two and some patches of wet for first runs of heat three.

we paxed 27/29 for heats 1 & 2.. not all that great, STR was just ahead of us in grid and they killed us... guys we can normally/usually run with.. so who knows.... I'm gonna say it was a "momentum course" (HS top pax, duh)

Just a reminder, Nationals early registration closes next Friday at 5pm EST. After that time, the price jumps from $150 to $300. Don't forget to sign up! Looks like currently 11 people in STU, but there are a few codrivers that still need to sign up. Hopefully we can get at least the same number of entrants as last year at the least. STR currently has 38 signed up, that class is going to be epic...again.

It's still early. I wonder how many M3's will actually show up. Everyone keeps leaving STU and running off to STR and other classes. I'm just hoping we can reach 30. Far cry from the 46 we had two years ago.

Congrats on the win this weekend Geoff! Although from my own selfish position, I was kind of hoping Doug would win so that Rob was the only one with two wins.

Should be fun in Lincoln, looking forward to it!

Hey Geoff, you might want to send a note to the kind folks doing the Pro Solo points. Apparently they only gave you 10 points for your Packwood win, giving you 30 points in total and not giving you the Pacific Zone win. It's fine with me, but you might want to check it out.

I know, we're not much over the minimum participation #s.

Congrats on another ProSolo win! Looks like a good year for the ProSolo season with you, Robert and Josh this year. I wish I had more events (and wins ) to get in the mix.

Rick

Rick, are you going to run the Pro as a single eventer? It's a shame you couldn't get another event in. Also don't forget about Rob's codriver Jon. Geoff has a great shot at the repeat win, but who knows what might happen with all the session leading bonus points. Could be interesting.

We're going to try to get in, mostly for my kid running his last year in FJB. It's looking like a loong week out there.

What are the rules on the Finale? I have done two Pro's in STR (got my *** kicked in both) and one Pro in the EVO. Can I compete in the Finale in STU?

I'm going to call Nancy.

It used to be that your events had to be in the same class but I don't see that in the notes.

Thanks
Kevin

For the class championship, you only get the points for that class. You should be able to get into the event since you did three of them, but if you compete in STU then you'll only get your STU points. Make sense? Effectively you'll be a one eventer for STU.
