I asked the OP, he said to leave it so it stays.

Relax!

Tiny update, but the car is in the shop right now having the head refreshed. Long story short, 2 years ago I was given advice by Hill at Agile Auto to put in upgraded springs/retainers with my Kelford 272s... I didn't listen to him and cheaped out, and re-used my OEM springs/retainers. I ran the car for 2 years and almost 15k miles of WOT track driving... before the springs gave out and I started slapping the valves around with my #1 piston. Lesson learned, don't cheap out, and listen to your tuner! Suffice to say, on his recommendation I'm refreshing the head with a full Ferrea valvetrain, titanium retainers/guides/valves, and beehive springs. I may have some port/polish work done on the head while its off, we'll see.

Just an update, the car is still apart right now, but I'm having the head ported while the full Ferrea valvetrain goes in, then having a MAPerformance o2 eliminator downpipe/o2 dump put in to replace my HKS 2.5'' downpipe and OEM o2 housing. Then I'll freshen up the tune and see how the car feels. It's still running stock pistons/rods right now, but I will build the bottom end probably next season.

Depending on how quickly the car comes back together I should be running it at NJMP next month with NASA NE.

Lol, we'll see if he's there this time. I may be running solo this event. He's had some serious personal crap going, so he had to drop out of both of his Grand Am seats, the Mazda 2 and the Rolex R8.

Your wish is my command! Lol, I have a ton I haven't posted up here. Also, the big news for me is as of today it looks like I will be making it to Summit Point, WV for the Nov 7th event instead of the NJMP October event at this point. A good buddy of mine is finally going to hit his first track day, and we settled on Summit for his first event.

The car should be on the dyno again soon. It's being retuned with speed density with Tephra with a ported head, full Ferrea valvetrain, MAPerformance o2 eliminator pipe (3'' downpipe + o2 dump). It made 407 whp on 93 octane last year with a 2.5'' downpipe, stock MAF, OEM springs/retainers, and OEM o2 housing... so I'm hoping for some nice gains even with stock pistons/rods.

They are Rexspeed window vents which allow air to escape preventing it from catching on the rear glass. Pretty inexpensive and a nice mod.
