Dude, your car sounds amazing. I see you have the same issue with the GoPro camera rattle as I do.

Do you run it with the water proof cover on or the open back? I had to use the water proof cover to stop the obnoxious wind noise.

What video editing software do you use?

looking forward to seeing you compete next year. i guess you're going to run with nasa mid-atl and not nasa northeast? i run with nasa northeast but have run with mid-atl at summit several times since the track is only 1.5 hours from me.

i'll be dropping power and class next year, so we wont be in the same class.

Thanks for the comments guys, yeah the GoPro is in the waterproof container, although I could probably take it out where I have it mounted. It pivots around because of the stupid cheap plastic screws. I use regular Win 7 Windows Movie Maker to "edit" the videos which in my case so far has been just crapping them onto YouTube. I'm going to try and get some slicker video next season. Not sure who I'll be running with next season yet honda-guy. I might do NASA TT or Real Time Attack or Global Time Attack. Still weighing options. I have to talk to my sponsor too because that will impact my decision.

That reminds me, what kind of times are you turning on Summit Main honda-guy? And with what tires?

i got videos of some laps there in september running on NT05 street tires. power level was around 330 whp mustang dyno. video show 1:23.x, i think i can get into 22's if i push harder in clean traffic, on NT05 tires.

you should check out NARRA TT also. it's a more relaxed environment and very good contingency. good media coverage too, which is good for your sponsor.

Yes, thats one of the ones I was planning to check out. Another of the cars from my sponsor is running NARRA. 1.23.x is awesome man, thats hauling ***.

Edit: I really like your line through 1 and through 5. I've been trying a tighter line on 5 and I think its costing me time. I really want to get back out there now!

^ thanks. most w2w race guys takes tighter lines through the turns to defend position. i take wider entry for better exit speed even though it adds track distance. i give up a little on T4 to setup for T5. i have to get the car settle before braking for T5 or my rear will lockup since i don't have ABS.

Yeah, by Sunday I was taking T5 a bit faster in 5th with just a dab of the brake to settle the car. I know I can get a bit more speed through there, but it seems like you carry a lot more speed through the carousel with your line. I know I left a lot on the table this last event, so I'm pretty sure I've got a couple of seconds I can take off if I really put the hammer down, especially on a warmer track. I'm so fiending to get back out there!

I'll probably be going to NT01 tires next season depending on the class I go for, what tires are you running?

you can hear the tires screaming on very turn on the new asphalt patch.

i started running A6 this year with NASA TT. have only been using a couple years old used A6 though. i won 2 new A6 this year, so next year i'll have two new A6 and two used A6 to start the season

i'll still be using NT05 for DE events and GTA, since i'll be running in street class for GTA. and A6 for NASA and NARRA.

Ok cool. I'm not 100% sure what events I'm going to be running, which will impact my tire choice. I'm not sure how eligible for some of the classes. Like Street class GTA, doesn't it require front carpets or something wacky?

Have either of you run at VIR before? What kind of times do you average there if so? (Full circuit)

I have only run VIR on iRacing, never in person. I would love to run it though, I've heard from the other MidAtlantic guys that its awesome. Maybe next season.
