Evolution Dynamics Pikes Peak Build
I have read and re-read all of DG's stuff over the years. I have used his theory on corner balancing and it absolutely makes sense to me. Others I know (including successful AX'ers) go just based on cross weight at 50% or try to match front tire weights and let the rears fall where they may. Both of those methods I don't agree with.
It would be awesome if someone would measure and post all the suspension bits needed for that program you posted. We could all pitch in some $$ if needed
So basically, I bought the setup that someone else spent the time on
Turns out it works amazingly well on the road course too even on a car with considerable downforce.
got some more track time today!!!! this time we went out to eagles canyon for a member day. it was a hot day, 95 degrees, and no clouds to shade us
morning session didn't go particularly well, after 2 laps a plug i used to cap off a coolant nipple exploded spilling all the water out. jeremy was right in front of pit entry though and pulled it in with a seconds notice allowing us to be able to fix it over lunch, and be back out for afternoon sessions.
afternoon went far better, with the first session out jeremy and Yuri were able to race length runs plus a few extra laps without issue (other then learning the braking points the hard way (
). second afternoon session also went smoothly with jeremy running a 1:58.0 lap time, which isnt record setting for TTU, but for his second time on the track, second time in the car with old khumo tires was smoking fast!!
here are a few pictures and a video:

Here is a video of Jeremy running a couple of laps out at Eagles Canyon. We have now done 3 days of race testing and we are confident that the car will make it up to the top of Pikes Peak with no issues.
I really hope they can get it under control by the end of this week. We have had the car done for almost a month now and we have been making minor changes and improvements to make sure it can race all the way up the mountain. We don't want our competitors to have any extra time to prepare their cars since many of them waited until the last minute to get them running.
