Good Job! Yes the subpan is very thin & obviously thats why so many have noted that the feet either need to be welded in-place (boxed in) or the doubler plates

After driving around you should feel the difference in stiffness w/the chassis

Anyone have pictures of how to modify the roll bar to allow putting tires/stuff in the back seat? I would like to have this done and figure I need to have a design available for whoever does it. I can't think of an effective way of doing this yet.

In the same boat. Possibly removing the front passenger seat & the horizontal harness bar you could fit the wheels in there

Personally I think what this owner did is the most innovative, structurally sound idea

i was going to this route.. but i'd give up too many perks since i DD the car: i'd not put my son in the back seat, even if i could fit the pads back in place. i like using my sun visors. a few other things.. like not racking my legs on the bars etc. luckily i'm too short to hit my head on the upper bars LOL. not sure with a helmet, though.

bleh. maybe when/if i buy another DD.

since i dont track mine and its mostly show&go, I decided to put my seat back and get rid of some of the noises. came out pretty good. a little too high on the trim, but good enough.

Looks like a decent solution as long as it's never used as a seat.
