Want to personally thank you for the details on the reinforcing plates. I know the subpan is thin, but felt that failure wouldnt happen to me BTW, Added your link to the front page in bold
Also, want to thank delongedoug for the plate dwg.

I had a fab shop cut the plates today ($6.00 LOL) & bend in the angle. I did not remove the roll bar, just unbolted both the feet & the rear posts. It was a bit of a PITA, but I managed to raise the feet & install the plates (PM me for details if needed)

Went w/ .125" plates. (.250" plates overkill IMO. Even w/ the .125 plates, the main hoop bar is super tight into the ceiling liner.) Very pleased w/the install No way those feet will blow through the pan!

^^^Looks like your bar is part of a full bolt-in cage vs just the roll bar. Can you confirm?

The center bar is hooped around the drivers seat & straight behind the passenger seat

Just an observation.

Great looking EVO for sure

its a autopower cage... so everything is welded together except the two bars that go to the rear wheel wells. not sure if this answers your question.

^^^Just to confirm. Is it the cage or roll bar? If its the cage, you dont have the fwd bars installed into the front seat compartment (Am I correct?)

Appreciate your help on this as I have not bought my roll bar yet

EDIT: Look at this pic. You can see the difference between the cage & the roll bar. The cage has a hooped bar just behind the rear of the drivers seat. The roll bar is hooped around both seats

Thanks, Mike

It looks to me like just a roll bar.

If you look at your pic the roll bar on the left had a removable cross bar. The cage is welded and that is why it's different. You can order the roll bar with a few options. One being the removable cross bar. (which comes in handy sometimes)

I know my son would be heart broken to not be able to ride in the car with me tho.

In time.

^^^Look at this photo. You can clearly see the single horizontal hoop behind the drivers seat. The passenger side is straight. The pic matches the roll cage & not the roll bar. Anyway, no big deal. I just saw the difference & wanted to see if the OP to clear it up.
