and Mistaken, If i do indeed decide to sell, would you like a courtesy pm with price and details? Its a full 6 point with weld in door bars, and would come with the beatrush rear bulkhead seporator.

Not shipping this if i do sell, so please no pm's about shipping quotes. Local sale only, local being the greater Seattle area.
Yeah I sure would.

I'd be in for it.

Does anyone have pictures of the mounting pads/locations. I would also like to see if anyone beefed up the pads or made pads for under the car.

Cars going under the knife soon, still compiling my wish list for the winter build!
Thanks!

I have 1/8" steel backing plates but I need something thicker. Doesn't feel strong enough to me. I will likely go to something like 1/2". And I'm thinking of making another set of plates for the mounting pads to bolt to before it bolts to the pan just for added strength.

Really? The whole point of a roll cage is to protect the driver from the roof suddenly swallowing him during a roll over. If you want a damn harness that bad just get a harness bar.

Bump!

I'm thinking about a half cage, anyone have any after roll-over pictures or video I can watch of an evo with a half cage doing a barrel roll?

I want to see how the cage protected the driver.

^^^^

Each roll over is so different that deciding on the effectiveness would be tough IMO.
I run the AP roll bar & when Im seated the main hoop is approx 8" away from my head
I know that it would help for sure but depending on the hit & number of rolls etc, each incident will be very diff

You should consider backer plates under the feet if you want the max protection

Why short change your safety and life? Would you rather go fast or be dead

What are you talking about? I ask for this information to see if that piece of safety equipment is 'good enough' for my needs based on my skill level and speed before I consider turning my car into a 100% track car and putting in a full cage.

This wasn't some sort of newbie, "Should I cage my car?" kind of question.

Is this your way of saying that a half cage is worthless? I guess I interpreted your post incorrectly.

Have to put the AP roll bar in perspective. In my mind, its an HPDE / Track Day bar & not intended for W2W events

Running a full cage on the street, as we all know, is a no go

My Opinion
