Do you have to remove the rear seats for the autopower roll bar? Don't plan on having passengers or anything just like the look o the car better with the seats.

You can get your back seat modified to fit. I wouldn't ever wish sitting back there to anyone! I pulled my rear seat belts out and it save almost 40lbs!

best way to install a bolt-in roll bar is to have large backing plates welded to the car to strengthen that area, then bolt the roll bar to the plates.

I have the autopower 6 pt and in order to strengthen the mounting points i fabbed up some 3/8" ss pads for the bars to sit on. each pad is approx 6"x6"

Go directly to autopower it's $550 I think. Ordered one on Thursday.

This is how I'm doing it, better safe than dead. The guys posting on here without this done should really consider it.

IOPort racing seems to be cheapest ($529 for street sport and $535 for Race) part that gets me is the freight shipping cost. :/

Not sure yet. They dont tell you until it shows up and you have to pay for it lol. the site says anywhere from $35-180... thats a helluva range if you ask me lol

What are your plans regarding the roll bar paint. Leave as is or powder coat?
