Speaking of the ProSolo though I wanted to do that too. I'm not sure I want to make that drive two weekends in a row though. What do you guys think of ProSolos?

Best fun you can have autocrossing. I may be coming up for the Packwood Pro... still trying to figure out if I want to brave the 13hr drive or not.

That's the general consensus I get everywhere I ask... I'm already locked in for the Tour though and the drive for me is roughly 7 hours. I can't decide if it would be worth it or not...

In packwood, we can teach you the true ways of camping. Race in the morning/afternoon, setup tent & drink beer + showers, walk to bar for dinner/drinks, walk back to tent for more beer. Its the only way to spend a weekend in Packwood and the only time I ever camp.

^I'm def excited for the camping. I was going to pitch my tent onsite somewhere so I can just wake up and race. All I really need is a bathroom and a shower though. What's everyone else's plan? Anything I need to bring or be aware of in particular?

Theres camp grounds right in town with showers and its like $20/night for a couple. Plus its stumbling distance to the bar.. Cause racing aint racing without a good assortment of after hours beer

The site in packwood doesnt have power anymore but you do have huge inside parking. That means it can get dark in there so id recommend bringing good lighting like both a flashlight and an electric lantern.

Awesome thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to bring that stuff. I can probably get a power converter to get power from my car if I need it. Do we need to reserve a camping spot there or is it like a first come-first serve kind of deal?

I ran in the what I think was the inaugural ProSolo test and tune at the Pepsi center in like 2002 in Denver, CO with my '98 Impreza RS and loved it and crushed most of the competition but then again, it was just a TNT. Move forward 12 years and I did two years at Farmington, NM in a '95 M3 and got my **** handed to me at the launches even with pretty decent trees by the various boost buggies and then I buy an 05 Evo GSR this year and we lose the ProSolo... Even if my results don't show it, it's still my favorite form of autox, especially playing the tree.

Haha I guess it's one of those situations where even if you lose you win, huh? The Pro sounds really fun, but I'm going to miss it this year. I can't justify going out there two weekends in a row and I can't miss work the whole week.

Plus, some of the local guys made a great point that launching my car in another state probably isn't the best idea since it's my only car right now. If I had a dedicated track car I'd be all over it. Soon...

The Tour is less than 2 weeks away! Can't wait!

Well, there you have it the results are in from the Crows Landing Pro and Tour. I won the Pro but not the Tour. Maybe now there is enough data for those with closed eyes to open them. :/

At the Pro I won by .111. I got the Z by .491 on the left side but he got me by .380 on the right. Overlaying the vids I only had him at the start, but every corner he gained on me. My best 60' was a 1.78, but most were low 1.8's. his were 2.1-2.2's. Side note, my buddy in a STU STi was 1.728 60', and Godzilla was in the 1.55 range! Ya there's some good grip at Crows

At the Crows Tour he got me by 1.66. First day was cone intensive (pointer cone on EVERYTHING) and technical, and at the end of the day he only had a .587 lead. The second day they opened it up a bit, and so did the gap. (At the San Diego Tour he got me by 1.72). See a recurring theme here? Yes, he's a good driver, but so am I (in case some don't know). That car is just mis classed and the C5 could possibly do even better.

Class is over. Enjoy your summer.

Man this sucks! I guess I should cross STU as a possible next step in my car preparation altogether and look at more expensive options when the time comes.
