Good to know, sounds like we need to plan an Evo BBQ.

On a side note, what do people do with their cars and trailers on the week between events? We're gonna vacation in SanFran Mon-Thurs and of course cant wheel the trailer around with us. Also dont feel super comfortable just leaving my car in California sitting around. This aint packwood afterall

I'm not sure that the logistics of storage have been worked out yet. I'm sure there will be options.

I raced BS last year locally, and making a few modifications to run STU this year for the first time. Looking forward to a season with some competitive M3's locally.

Opinions on tire psi in cold weather .

-Tire bfg rival 255\40-17
-track location Richmond, Va
-tempature estimated to be hi 50 low 33 cloudy. Expected to be mostly dry.

Ran 40psi in the past till heat went up then dropped psi as needed.

Opinions?? Thanks Drew, R

What size wheel?

Last time I was at VMP in February I was running like 26 psi on my Star Specs 40's and really windy IIRC.

245s on 9" wheels, though.

Oh, hello there. Don't mind me, I'm just here to watch Geoff and Brian Peters battle it out for the title from the comfort of my SSR codrive.

Never has finishing in the top 15 in class (hopefully) ever seemed like such an accomplishment.

Why do you hurt me like that Doug? I'm hurt.

But it is possible that I might make some random STU grids. Still have the STi and I'm planning to fly out to Packwood this year. So we'll see what happens. Rematch in the same car Geoff?

Do you STU guys have different tires for the rain? If so, what do you use?

After some years away, I'm back in the Evo fold. I have left SM behind & will more than likely prep the new car for STU. It's not even close @ this point lol

I'd like to compete again @ the Dixie event--anyone need a tire warmer?

My car is definitely not ready for prime time this past weekend here in Orlando @ the Martin Sports Car Club event (non-SCCA):

I would just run my ZII's. Even when it rains, it rarely rains so badly that I'd be willing to risk switching to something like a Conti DW and then have the course dry out or something.

I did Dixie in 2012. Never again I blame Luster for enabling me.

Kind of cool though, my old E36 M3 will be signed up in STU. I do miss that car.

I think the Michelin Pilot Sport is the tire of choice for the rain

I ran my GT-R in SM in '12. What class did you run?
