we;re lucky our team has a good amount of hands on experience and access to some decent equipment.
turned out pretty decent for a first go. might be a little thin but we have a lightweight bracing idea from the cage so it should work.
couple buddies came over last weekend to help so we put them to work with cardboard, tape, and scissors to get templates for the rocker boxes. finally got the them drawn up and laser'd
As a life long weight weinie it's hard to add the weight - but for a hillclimb car it's worth it. Per pikes peak rules we could have used 1.5" going to a 1.75" for the main tubes was a minimal gain and an added piece of mind.
Since we had time before the motor was in the car I told them it could be bumped behind others as needed. The motor should be going in next week so it's just in time!
I ordered a radiator last summer, after 3 months of waiting I asked Chad for a refund, which he graciously provided. Ended up leaving the OEM CSF rad in place as it works just fine.
