Curb weight reduction
I was low 29xx then added heavier tires/wheels and ended up 2950 with around 1/2 tank last year. My min weight is 2900 and I'm using fuel to get over weight. Nothing crazy on my car other than all the stuff unneeded pulled out.
The real trick its to start shifting weight to the back or getting it off driver front corner. Namely moving ACD and going to ultra tiny battery. I would love a equally function but lighter FMIC since its about 12lbs heavier than stock.
Will also be adding more weight back in with Aero bits and loosing some with other work.

I don't have anything crazy, just like Dallas. I was using a 2lb Shorai battery, 12lb cf passenger seat, AMS moustache bar, Ti exhaust, 2pc driveshaft, no AC, no sound deadening (UD/BD w/ RS), and just the normal stuff that's lighter than stock (wheels, suspension, etc). I used to have my build posted on a forum somewhere at one point.

Of course, would be nice if there was like a 13-15lb setup that was good for around 500hp.
I have the ETS 3.5", its build like a tank for sure. I've always thought that's been an area we should be able to get something lighter, maybe I'll CNC some thin wall end tanks with internal ribbing for someone to weld up for me

Haha, Our HP requirements are not quite lining up with our weight reduction desires..
I think I only took a couple pictures of my stuff? Been about 2 years since I relocated so I don't remember if I actually posted details.

3085. MR "SE" with STU prep. Best guess is something like 3020 would be possible with a turndown, 5-speed swap, wing delete, 2-piece rear rotors and a couple of other things.

Cant wait to get mine all buttoned up and on the scales. I AM considering cutting the door panels up for more weight loss and to create some more room for a cage.
On the fence as far as intercooler though. For the stock turbo I want something small and light, but better than the stock unit considering at 24-26PSI the turbo is way outside efficiency and blowing a lot of hot air.

We were able to Fit a six point with the door cards in. But removing them sure would make it a lot easier. I rest my arm on them all the time while driving, so I sure would miss them LOL

Ooooh. Gotcha. That would be awesome. I'm not at the point I can go that far yet. Maybe once I get the door bars finished.
