What data logging system?

I need new gauges and more data input. I was told to get all in one system that also allows for data logging. What are some entry level options that work well. Looking for oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, boost psi, afr, etc. and ability to data log and review.

Thanks

They aren't really in business anymore but I fricken LOVE the TraqMate system. Very easy to use and figure out. You can find used systems pretty easily. You can then get their data module for logging a few digital and analog inputs.

TM and AiM are both good. If you really want to geek out you can go with the DL1. Very well supported here and internationally plus it can take just about any kind of input/sensor imaginable. Takes a minute to use but if you set it up correctly you get faster and faster to get quick glances or full on F1 style reviews. The display I'm using is the Dash3 but I may upgrade to a larger one.

Thanks. Good info. I prefer to geek out, but I know real world for me is easy and basic set up as I will never take full advantage of most systems. Just want a quick set up with accurate readings and logging for tuning.

If you're looking for something basic, just for tuning, I like my Zeitronix ZT2 (it records AFR, oil pressure, and the 4th input I flip a switch to splay water or oil temp). You can expand it with their Ndash display and it will show all of your OBD2 data was well.

I've used AiM, TraqMate, and Racepak. AiM takes the win and Traqmate are very close second. Racepak is awful. Support and software is not up to par.

I'm waiting on my AEM VDM. That will work best with my Dash and Infinity. I still need to play with the software.

Thanks for the follow up. AIM seems to be the one.

Any thoughts on video graphics that will display time and speed and gps etc...for GoPro or whatever video?

Once you have the data logged I assume you mean you are looking for a way to overlay it on the video? Dashware is free but there are lots of other programs that support AIM or simliar loggers

See how suitable Solo Storm would be for you as well. Pretty cheap to start with and can be extended for more serious data-logging.

Whichever system u go with, pay attention to the raster rate so you don't miss the necessary data.

Have you used any of these systems to datalog suspension(Travel, Load, etc)? I'm very interested in aero, damper tuning/adjustment, and spring rates. Curious what people are using in practice. Especially sensors and logging tools.
