Spinning front, inside tire.
The reason to have the front diff is to get into power earlier. If you are fully side loaded and spin up one end or the other inside its going to over-drive the opposite end as well as the center diff starts coming into play.
1way clutch vs torsen, I like the 1way clutch for the off throttle tight turn characteristics and adjustability. The downside is maintenance. Seems my diff degraded quick a bit over the 3 years of use so it can also become a setup variable. Im hoping adding the wheel speed logs will catch when a diff is starting to get weak.

i was thinking i'd be mostly interested in improving turn-in from a helical, without losing on throttle behavior/improving it. regardless of diff behavior, (for track) you shouldn't be getting on power before apex
If you want better turn-in you need to fix the roll centers
The turn-in on my car is the most absurd thing you've ever felt in an Evo and it comes a little from the front uprights but a huge impact is in the rear.

aside from the roll center adjuster, what else is there? physically changing the rake?
Adjusting rake or rear ride height doesnt change rear roll moment. And that (which even surprised me) was the biggest effect on turn-in of anything Ive done. Anyone who has a lot of time driving Evos (Marshal and the Mikko's for example) spend their first few runs turning right into cones till they adjust to the response.

i like that we're having a convo in 3 different threads btw, lol
What class are you trying to run? The rear diff isnt legal for STU so I assumed probably just in SP or SM. Whats that correlate to for track classes? Or if its just for fun, then it doesnt matter.
SUSPENSION / TIRES
- Vehicles must use a DOT approved tire with a minimum UTQG Rating of 200 or higher. Tires from other markets (EU, JP) are permitted as long as they match the UTQG Rating.
- Tire Width: FWD: 285, RWD: 285, AWD: 255
- Tires may only be downsized 10mm from OEM to meet the requirement of the above width restriction.
- Suspension is limited to single adjustable unless OEM Equipped.
- Active suspension components are not permitted unless OEM.
- Suspension pickup points must remain OEM.
- The top of the tire may not protrude past the widest point of the wheel arch when viewed from above. Body lines may not be altered overfenders may be added if wheel openings do not change rough dimensions when viewed from the horizontal perspective when fenders are rolled.
Knuckles are legal for Street in GL. They are not legal in Global Time attack until you get to Limited. My recommendation is don't mod your car going off the rules for a season that just ended, wait until December/January when they release 2020 rules. I've heard murmurs of big changes for next year.

As for ethanol, it doesn't make a huge difference in street but enough people wanted it so they made it legal. In street mod you pretty much have to run E85 or race gas if you want to compete. FWIW you should want to have E85. On the tighter tracks having better mid range torque allowed with E85 is a good edge you'll have over all the NA V6 guys.
I just want them to rename street so people don't confuse street and street mod so much.
