There are 2 different things I'm working on, one is just an adapter for these to the OEM mount. Main reason I'm even making them is for Ken Thwaits. They're already designed and easy enough to machine in an evening. It just worked out that I happened to be working the the radial mount and Ken wanted to change to the same caliper, but made doing both versions easy enough.

I am assuming that for the Aero6 your "2 different things" are an I am mount point for stock sized rotors and an axial mount to fit larger rotors based on ring size?
The adapters Im making right now are for a 355mm rotor to bolt Aero6 to OEM style mounting ears. The other thing Im working on is just a true radial mount upright. One custom version for myself using the superlite caliper and a normal setup for the Aero6 for Austin (Ayoustin here). The radial mount upright will have to be set for OEM sized rotors (330mm) and 12.5 or 25mm spacer added to move up to 355 or 380mm rotors.
Stock is 320mm for an 8/9. Probably was a fat fingered mistake but just clarifying to avoid any confusion.
I'm super stoked for the radial uprights tho and they'd definitely be a no brainer upgrade for anyone looking to do an upright upgrade who doesn't already have a brake kit. The brackets make for an awesome step up/addition for current upright owners or guys just looking for an affordable brake kit and allows guys to take upgrades in steps which makes it more affordable for mortals
I should be able to put the radial setup through a pretty good ringer next season. The only edges I'm gonna over most guys in my class is less weight and *hopefully* better, more confidence inspiring brakes. Other than that I'm gonna be waaay down on power and aero, hopefully not down too much on tire at least. Either way should make for one hell of a challenge!
Any updates on this? I am at a point I need to either rebuild stock setup to get another year or two out of it or I need to pull together my own kit setup based on the work I've done so far. Didn't know if you guys had made more progress so i didn't have to reinvent the wheel, no pun intended.
Dallas did make a bracket to use the Wilwood Aero6 caliper with stock rotors on stock knuckle. He hasn't put them into production yet tho. The WW caliper is a 6 piston setup, the pistons are stainless steel and they come with anti knockback springs installed. They do not use dust boots on the pistons so if your car sees lots of dirt and road grime and salt etc. I would not recommend them over stock.
I'd love those calipers but I do occasionally drive to the track and around town on the weekend. Maybe dust boots are handy (though would be nice to quit burning them to a crispy death at the track).

My IX is at 65k miles. In the last 6 years I have put 7k miles on them, 4200 of which was One Lap in 2013. I am not worried about concerns with road grime. I am concerned in trying to slow my bucket down from 135+mph going into turn 1 at WGI with no brakes.
Glad to see this moving forward. I'll have to reach out to Dallas to see where he's at.
