if you were tuned before, you can do a data log to check your AFR's. You may be running a decent amount leaner.

kindaish. Engine is moving more air. ECU doesn't know, so dumps the same amount of fuel.

With the test pipe, you should be able to add at least a degree of timing in the upper RPMs, even if the AFR is okay. If you are still on MAF, it may adjust the fueling at WOT better than an SD car, but that’s not everything. Did you ever get the titanium muffler setup on the car? If you changed exhaust, that’s another thing different.

no got the death rattle on the sequioa so it needed needed a timing chain tensioner job that cost fking 2 grand + 700 in parts.. exhaust had to go on the back burner..

it's gonna need a retune anyway in may so i'll just watch it for now and make sure it's all in range.

I never noticed a huge difference in AFR from HFC to testpipe, if the sensor was pre cat. Tailpipe, yes.

Boost will go up because of the back pressure change, if you have ECU boost, it will control it mostly (depending on quality of tune) but you would want to do some boost control touchups.

I'm finally tuning on SD. Not wanting to, but tired of getting towed off track because a coupling pops off

Going to high Z injectors, also.
Expecting better low RPM drivability.
Stoked.

Are you doing SD flex fuel? I’ve been on SD since 2009 but just now working on the “FreeFuel” patch.

Designed some rear camber locks that give more than a few camber settings. Going to be measuring adjustment range and then should be getting a few sets machined soon.

Ya I have adjustable arms on both cars so locking this at 0 with a standard bolt is MUCH preferred over the easy-to-strip oem one. Same goes for the front struts like PA did.

Yes. I'd never go back to not having flexfuel. It's far, far, far too convenient! I'm just having trouble getting my tuner to reply. Sometimes it's hard giving people your money

I think he was talking about stock cat? I assumed that's what Cali smog needs. I had a vibrant 3.5" 100cel cat that made no difference compared to my test pipe currently, but I'd assume stock cat would affect flow more.

I don't know how far on the bleeding edge people's tunes are here but if there's a safe margin even with MBC.....should be fine. I can't run most standard road tunes on the track for 20-30min sessions on a hot day and not encounter consistent knock.

100 cell cat - not in cali personally. interesting that you didnt see any difference between 100 cell and test pipe. my tune's not on the bleeding edge, lot of room on e85.
