Interesting design with a second cone filter on the top. The improvement in airflow is probably minimal but I appreciate how they maximized the filtration area within the volume of the filter.
My cheaper Vibrant 2161C looks exactly like that. I think they all come from the same source

I'm sure they do.

Strange that Vibrant lists the 2160C as not recommended for use with forced induction.

the amsoil ones are a 4.5" inlet that i've got attached to a maf adapter. not sure how much that matters but looks like the 2160c is only 3"

Just drive around in dusty conditions for a while. It will turn black quickly enough.

Without knowing how stiff the Cusco it's hard to say how they'll compare but I can say we don't get many complaints with our Street bushings on other platforms.

I have someone sending me a CP9A rear mount so we'll have all of the mounts covered for E4-9. The 4-6 rear mount and the 6 speed trans mount we'll likely only do in small runs and require a deposit.
You need to get a RHD Spec Rear trans mount also to have all options covered.

Probably cause that little inner cone bit they have on them is likely to be sucked in under vacuum load?

Had one of these types of filters on the skyline and it broke apart. lucky saw it failing before did any decent driving with it like that. the metal ring glue failed and it started collapsing

If it's this mount then we could probably make something relatively easily. Would need someone to send me one though.

oh that aint ****. maybe 20 more lbs for the 6spd, there was always a 20lb diff between MR & GSR listed specs. thinking i might just pop by and put the trans in the trunk and take it to TRE, rather spend $500 for back and forth shipping for a 2 1/2 drive.
