Fantastic, thats the feedback Id hoped to hear. As with everyone else, I speculated it wouldnt make a difference but good to know at least someone tested it with data.

The app has the ability to set a start and stop point so it can be used to make custom tracks like autocrosses. Track Addict has a similar function and I can't remember if Harry's does or not too.

Sounds like tcase or diff.

I'm so glad I sold my Evo. Other than the initial build my A90 Supra has only needed brakes, fluids, and alignment checks in ~15 track days.

thinking t case also, but is it common that it only manifests in 4-5-6? zero sound at lower speeds. hint of it in 3rd. I wanted to go back to cusco for front and rear diffs too anyway

It's common for a hypoid gear set to not make noise until a certain speed, or a higher speed, or on make noise in a specific 5-10mph range. Etc

after starting with stock rear diff, then cusco 1.5 type rs, to os giken, to ats carbon hybrid 1.5way in the rear - i'm finally going back to the cusco. while it was the most aggressive in terms of adding a little bit of push, it also provided the most power-on oversteer - ordered the cusco 1.5 141 L15.

Since the t-case is coming out, also decided to swap the ATS diff for a Cusco - the 450F. The 450F and the 450C seem the same except the 450F is 1-way only, while the center spline thing in 450c allows either 1-way or 1.5-way based on the orientation. Figured I'm never gonna change from 1-way in the front anyway, so went with the 450F.

The car hasn't really been providing much power-on rotation for me, so hoping going back to the Cusco 1.5 in the rear will bring it back.

Helps that the USD/yen is pretty amazing right now. https://www.blackhawkjapan.com/?rfsn=7989172.f6c8906

the gymkhana version? even if i'm also doing time trials/track days? the 141fg uses a 55 degree ramp angle, and 141f uses a 45 degree ramp angle. so the 141fg will be more aggressive more quickly for lockup right? do i necessarily want that for autox and track days?

it is a question of if you turn hard enough on track to unload the inside rear. If the rear gets light you need the high preload to keep the diff working. the ramp angle is not the primary difference between the F and FG versions.
