Uh. Wtf. Send Dailey a pic and ask..... f#ckin uhhhhhh wtactualf#ck
What smooth brain "engineer" designed that?
Dunno, I showed them the 45 that comes from factory and they're looking at it. However turns out that this is a 10an fitting in an 8anORB hole. So I'm trying a couple 8orb fittings to see what clears. Pretty much everyone else running these is on a aftermarket turbo which clears much better.
Ethanol doesn't turn into water...lol. Keep it in a sealed container and it will keep for 6+ months easily. If you're hell bent on using it, yes, you can dump it into a flex fuel vehicle and it will be fine. Thats the entire point of FLEX fuel.
Speaking of e85. I left a couple 5gal jugs of it in my car for a while. It did weird things to the metal.
I don't recommend it.
To what metal? I've had E85 in my car for 7 years. It sits most winters and I've take other peoples old E85 from a winter and thrown it in cause Ive NEVER had an issue with stuff thats sat a while.
If you were really pushing for max power and 700+ hp Id probably worry a bit more but 400-500 hp, DGAF. Theres just so much overhead and any little difference seem to be covered well with LTFTs.

I have no interior in the back half of the car, so I had the weird, white crusty stuff that you see on the fuel pump/hangar, when exposed to air. It was on random surfaces of the car. There are also a couple scratches on my roll bar that are down to the metal. I saw some stuff there too. It was weird. Could be a coincidence, but I've never had that happen before or since. The jugs were in my car for quite a while. Not sure exactly how long.. couple months, maybe?

That sounds like it has nothing to do with ethanol. And more to do with living in humid cali.
I am so confused with this thread these days. Guess I've been away too long? Ethanol eating metal and also turning to water? What the...hah you guys crack me up!
ok good to know it'll last. finally with a tow car and e85 am i one of you guys now???
bought these to carry extra e85 on me, looks like availability can be spotty
a necessity. I take my own everywhere I go. IF you can find out at the track, it's gonna be $$$$

Humid? In Fresno? I suppose. Though I've never seen the white, crusty stuff before or since and I've lived here for 33 years. Possible coincidence that I've only ever seen it before on my fuel pump and hangar after opening up my fuel tank, closing, then not running for 6mos. With e85 in it.
