Is the Kaizen solution like this?

The crydom SSRs come up a lot on google for pump controllers. I don't think they were specifically made for automotive applications like the Hella SSR. Crydom makes a lot of residential and industrial relays. But it does seem like a lot of people on the internet use it with success.

Kaizen Relay – KAIZENSPEED

Hopefully the link works. These relays can be joined together, controlled by CAN with a module that joins on the side. Pretty flexible things.

I like the MSD thing that Shaun has posted though.

They look interesting. Only thing is the pwm frequency seems low at max 225hz.

Do you have to share with the wife or will she let you have it all?

She just bought an IS350 F-sport so she gets the two car side since she can't park a car to save her life. In her world parking on the line is the same as parking inside the lines. I can always build a second garage at the tail of the driveway. I might put up a guardrail to protect the Evo for the meantime.

Building a 64 based 2.2L after my stock rod decided to put numerous holes in the block. These damn custom pistons for the 64/94/156 combo seem to be a pain in the ***.

Can anybody check my information regarding specs I am going to give to Wiseco, please? I've compiled most of this info from searching around both the forums and Wiseco's site.

Block Height: 235mm (4G64)
Stroke: 94mm
Rods: 156mm
CR: 9.0:1
Cylinder head CC: 43cc

Compression Height: 32mm/1.248"
Volume: -21cc ?
Deck clearance: 0.3mm ?
Headgasket: .042"/1.1mm (stock evo 9 1005A700)

You don't want the stroke/rod/piston to add up to zero deck. Best way is to measure current deck clearance with knock comp height pistons.

Also, stock 9 head gasket is .051".

Shoot for .010" in the hole. By the time the deck gets resurfaced, it'll prob be more like .003-5" in the whole.

That's a great purchase.

Looks like it comes with a bonus house attached, too.

She's the breadwinner. I'm just a Director of Engineering while she's a CFO. She has way more money into this than I do.

Not if you're raising kids. Each one costs about as much as a ten car garage.
