Sup w/them 2026 Spring Projects?
Fun fact: There's an FP Evo (SCCA, not Forced Performance) for sale locally but I couldn't do anything without space. I really want to buy that and throw my plethora of SSB parts on it and see what happens. It's already gutted so no worries about ruining a pristine example. That or get a Supra. Giggity.
I 3D printed some brake caliper templates for fitment testing.
RPF-1 has terrible brake clearance. Doesn't help that the Evo brake rotors have such a low offset. Would be much easier to fit bigger brakes if the rotor could be moved inboard a tiny bit like other vehicles.

Even 2 car garages are a luxury in my area. Houses here are 100 years old and nobody was leaving room for 2 car garages back then.
I lucked into a house with a weirdly shaped lot that allowed me to build a 2-gar garage. Luxury around these parts.
I've been searching for a new house in this area with a bigger garage for literally years. Earlier this year I got a severe case of COVID and did basically nothing for 7-10 days. As soon as I start catching up on e-mail, I see alerts for one house with a 4-car garage and another with a perfect space for a big 3-car buildout.
Both were well under contract by the time I saw the listings, naturally.

There's a neighborhood in my town where a couple of homes have two, two car garages and an RV garage. All connected. Basically a five-car garage/shop. I want one so bad. Stick a lift in the RV parking spot and done.
Let's be honest. If you bought this house you'd end up with 13 cars somehow.
We have a 3 car garage but I'm only allowed to part 1 functional car in. My shop is technically 2 car with just 2 doors. Half of it is machine shop and right now about 1/4 is being taken up by pallets of raw material, riding mower, and compact tractor.
So even with about 2600sqft of total floor space, I have 2 spots for a car right now. Was going to buy an NC miata to play with but dumped all that money into a new CNC.

And how thick do you have to pour the concrete when doing a buildout to support big CNC machines? Anything thicker than normal at this scale?
Concrete for my shop is 6" fiber reinforced. But 4" concrete is plenty for the UMC500 and VF2 I have. If I went with like a UMC750 or other larger framed machined I may have to cut out a chunk and do 8".
