first, we used to have a meet on saturdays but we have been insanely busy so it hasn't happened in about a year. good news is lauren is planning a potluck picnic like we did a couple years back. we want to have it in 2-3 weeks before it gets to cold. it is being planning (and bad weather backup will be at the shop of course


second, if anyone would be willing to come in a reformat the harddrives on three of our computers, reinstall windows and a few of the programs we use, i will pay you, give you free installs or apply it to parts if you like. these things are so insanely bad i can't even process credit cards without problems anymore. one is a desktop, one is a standard laptop and one is a netbook.

COMPUTER DUDES HELP ME!!!

My mac book is down to like 1.5g left. I had to take off my windows partition to free that little bit of space up. What do I do now. Can I get a bigger hard drive and ghost this one over and keep everything or what??

Or can I move all of my pictures over out of iphoto to free up some space?

Just get an external hard drive to move everything to. They're usually $100 or less (I think).

You have a couple options. You can buy an external hd and move things over or you can buy a new hard drive and an external hard drive use tim machine to backup the entire drive to the external. Install the new drive and do a recovery with time machine software it will move everything back.
