It is an awesome feeling. You already stare at your own evo when you park and get a grin going but when you see other people take pictures and videos, it's a totally different feel, it's awesome needless to say. Makes you feel like you are driving an exotic haha. Funny thing about that is the dude followed me about a mile, parked close to me waited for me to go to the restaurant (i went in, told them to get me a table going and walked out to smoke while I waited for the table) and the guy got out of his car started taking pictures and then took off lol. I havent even installed my eibach pro kit either so the car isnt that aggressive looking.

That's pretty cool! I am thinking if I can manage to get a job between now and then about getting another Evo. We will see, I would love to have a 2012 DD (B Stock).

Hopefully I am quite happy with the evo, cant think about getting rid of it even for a GTR but that will eventually happen...

You craving another evo? :P

Hey guys, kinda in an emergency state. Does anyone have a spare tire I could use till I get my bent rim repaired? I'm stuck on 635 West Bound and just had a blow out and nope don't have a spare here with me at all.

I have a tow truck coming but that ain't gonna help me out much. If anyone can lend a hand hit me up at 404-805-0067.

Thanks,
JB

Saw a blue GTR on the road yesterday w/ my wife. Her words: I think I'd really like one of those for my next car.

BOOM. I think I just got a GTR without having to get rid of the evo :-)

Wife hit her new (<1k miles) car into the gate across our driveway today. Broke the fender flare and the gate.

Ouch! This has been the week for cars getting messed up for sure. 2 people wrecked their cars on the way to the bus lot Saturday, one a nearly new 2012 Cayman R and another Kan's Elise, I went down a ****ty road and clipped my bottom, the wrecked Genesis from last weeks SCCA event at the bus lot, and my buddies wife totaled her car during a drivers test (officer in the car), it seems when it rains it pours!

any1 have any suggestions on the hood dampers for the X? I need to invest in these as I am tired of using that POS stick to hold the hood up... Also, do you guys know of a decent how to guide (as I failed to find one...) for the F and R sway bars? I was able to find some for the R sway but nothing for the front. My buddy and I will tackle them so we should be just fine, it will be a bit PITA but our evos are our labor of love machines!

DO NOT GET REXPEED, they are the worst. Almost broke my damn hood in half trying to close it for the first time. If you want cheap get the Mynes, if you want the ones that are designed right and don't F up your car get the Tein's or the Colt Speed, these are the ONLY two built worth a damn at all. Tein's are affordable, Colt's are like buying long lost JDM shat. I repeat however... STFA from Rexpeed Taiwanese garbage. If you don't believe me take a look at Supraboy's fenders or stop by and take a look at mine. There quality really is in their name...Rex Peed.

If I had it to do over again I would have stayed with the POS stick or the Tein's.

lol yea, I have know better not to purchase from rexspeed for important crap, cosmetic sure why the hell not (reflector and i got a VG that I have to trim up and pain) but not for the dampers for sure. What happened to Toms fenders or yours?

Colt speed seems to be a bit pricey unless they really are worth for it, i dont shy away from spending extra money on the evo if it is worth it...

The Rexpeed ones spin the brackets on the fenders and not only goes through the paint and primer, it buries itself deep within the metal before stopping. Rexpeed was the worst purchase I have pretty much ever made. Kracka got his Mynes like a week after mine and immediately I felt like crap. The Mynes work well, they are not too stiff, but they are still a single mount contact point. My Rexpeed came with Mini-Van instructions, they are not even made by Rexpeed, they just resale knock-off garbage out of Taiwan. Tein would be the way I go if I could do it again. They come with a nice backside threaded plate for you to thread the socketed ball into and then mount the arm securely into that point. It looks fantastic, I saw one at a car show before I got mine but I thought they custom made the bracket due to Tein not verbalizing how the install goes.
