Pointless NTEC chat thread
I can understand some people's desires to push their cars to the limits on any sort of track. I have enjoyed auto-x in the past and plan to do it again in this car. I would also love to do some track days. But, not everyone is about going fast around a course.
Tom, I will race your car for you so that you do not have to worry about the liability.

On a side note, I have only met Jose twice in RL and never said anything bad to him, insulted his car.....or the like. So not sure why he's going postal. But it's all good. He can clearly dish it out but can't take it. Also I checked my struts last night, Chris, Alex, James, Turk, and too many others have seen them and guess what? There is no problem. Fenders aren't jacked, paint missing... Or whatever else you claim.
I do lol about you claiming real men race their street cars... That's funny... Real men love Jesus and take care of their families. Try at least the later Jose. I'm done with you.
Now that you mention it tom i think he might be that one guy over at dfwmazdas that was bashing ralliarts because they dont come with brembos and wide body kits and dont have Evo in the title of their name.
I guess buying a ralliart makes me inferior because i dont mind the evo 9 awd system with the same 4b11t motor and tranny as an X and not paying insane insurance since im only 23. Its against the law apparently to think practical for my lifestyle. Just like Tom with his insurance and family.

Rainbows, unicorns, and four leaf clovers.
Everybody calm down and be friendly. Keep your hatin' off the NTEC forum.
Anyways...
That build sounds pretty intense and exciting. Sorry for the ignorant question: Is the RA motor capable of handling the power produced by your parts? (I just don't know anything about the 10's) You will be well over 400whp (and 400tq?) on E85 and that seems pretty close to the edge. Kracka, Supraboy, KevinD, and Rmondo feel free to chime in because I know you guys are way more knowledgeable than me.
Most people know my response; save your money for some HPDE events. Chicks dig dudes that race cars way more than guys with dyno sheets. And some insurance providers even offer coverage as long as it isn't a timed event, like an HPDE.
