He does do cool stuff, he is a good driver. Idk where the hell he gets his money.... but it is annoying to make a big production and then nothing.

That's what Jessica said. I could do pink on black. That could look pretty awesome.

I just took a peek at the Gaytes 311RS Evo X, what a joke, that's nothing the common shade tree mechanic cannot do! Minus the "Evasive Alignment"!

I think I might be the only person on the forums that thinks the 311rs is a great idea as long as the price isn't ridiculous. A fully modded x with a warranty. That would have come in handy for me already LOL.

Completely agree! That's not what I was expecting AT ALL. Over 3 years of development for a finely tuned fully bolted Evo X? Sorry, as you said, that's nothing Evo X owners don't already do personally minus the alignment. As for the warranty claim, I guess if you buy their package, then if something happens they will cover you. However their claim is that since they don't touch internals, then the warranty is intact. The Stage1 and Stage2 builds that a lot of Evo X owners do don't go anywhere near internals. Apart from the car looking nice and clean, I'm not impressed.

And how does he provide the warranty? Because if it's through mitsu, then they'll say nope that was abuse, denied. And if it is through AMS or the like, then you'll have to get your car there to get covered.

I think all of us with full bolts-on's like the Gaytes car should team up and get a X11RS vinyl made for our rockers...

I'd bet money that the numbers he's showing for that evo are at the crank. I'll also bet he's charging 20k for 6k in parts and paint.

You now it would have to be. They would have to leave it conservative if not knowing specifics like fueling options and such, unless they actually tune it per the customers locale but even then...

I also agree on the parts. I could buy all of the parts on that thing and not even paint the car and just get some $20 vinyls made up, powder coat the wheels, etch some fancy logos on the calipers and rotors with my dremel and call it a day. WTF did they paint it for? Is that pearl white or something?

What he should have done is found 11 Rotor Glows and called it a day. At least then he would have something to attract potential buyers.
