From: Tx,
As a result, horsepower is rated at 545 hp, an increase of 15 hp over the 2012 GT-R’s 530 hp. Similarly, torque has been increased to 463 lb-ft from 448 lb-ft.
0-60 in 2.72 secs, 1/4 10.?

The video is actually 2013 GTR 7:21 Nur Time.

Veloster Turbo confirmed. ~204hp is the current guess. I saw one (NA of course) this weekend. Didn't look too bad.

I think I'd take an FT86 though. I had a Scion before. Economical, fun, very cheap to own (gas, tires, sway bars and springs).

I'm 99% sure this will become my new daily driver when I graduate in May.

the production model looks nothing like that. It will still be very nice. But i'd prefer the subaru version if reports of it having 300hp vs 200 for the scion are true

i heard that too, but i also see all the press releases saying the subaru and scion will both be NA and there isn't a STI version "officially" released yet. honestly the release of this car is almost comical at how long it has taken and how poorly they have disseminated the information

Yep. Once again, production engineers ruin a beautiful concept.

With TRD goodies...

Yea the TRD stuff looks like crap. It is still a good looking car, but definitely not as good as the concept. They muted all the lines that made it look so unique. Still, worth looking into.

The most important feature of that car is the weight:

2662 ponds (1210kg) for base manual (~ 2580 lbs dry weight)
2706 pounds for higher trim manual

Current day Miata MX-5: 2480.

If I bought that car, the first thing I would do is throw an LSx into it.
