btw, curious, what was your best time for the day?
i coned on my first 3 runs but ended up with a 43.668 on my last run. not terribly impressive but more than enough to crush bud foster in his silly plastic vette. i would have won class if they hadn't dumped paul and his race tires in to my class.

nakama is amazing, so is sawa (by monroeville mall) i recommend it to anyone

MONDO, just for curiosities sake would my car be an absolute dog at autocross??? Id like to hang out and race with you guys, but a laggy *** turbo and an exedy triple arent really conducive to autox. would i embarass myself?

i also have a bone stock 00' s2000, but after 60k miles the tranny and clutch are pretty compromised so i dunno if id risk it in the honda. what do ya think?

i don't think it would be a dog at all. one of the things that i have always liked about autocross is that to a large degree it equalizes cars. there will be parts of the course where the power will serve you well, and other times where the lag will hurt a bit. but other cars will have their own advantages/disadvantages too.

if you want to come out i would be happy to ride along with you and yell GAS/BRAKE in your ear a few times. i'm a slow *** driver, but i have a proven track record of coaching people to going much faster than i do while in their passenger seat.

yeah i pretty much hated the course at first but toward the end i loved it. I think the lot being on a slant really ****ed with my head. i think i really got to something on my last run.... i was so pissed at that point that they were not doing any REAL fun runs.

the slanted parking is certainly an interesting topographical feature unique to north park.

it makes for some fun in the rain or when they lay out a course that has a turn out of your field of vision to to the elevation change. keeps you on your toes.
