Thanks guys.

Mondo, I honestly wouldn't be opposed to oem pads if they were much cheaper. I could make due, however even a set of 4 oem pads is close to the cost of a good aftermarket set. I plan on trap speeds around 130 or so like Jason reports. While most drag strips have a nice long shut down, prp has like a 20 stretch of shut down and then you're driving through the woods (only slight exaggeration).

Saber,
if u figure it out let me know

jay,
which ebc pads u using on the delly?

if I go with a new turd-bo around tax time it will probably be 6262. But u know ull be helping me tune the box. 700 or bust

Sticking with the stock turbo? Boo.... time to upgrade that beast.

That is once you swap out your transmission...

we drained my tranny fluid the other day, pulled the tranny out and it looked like a bottle of glitter, the whole pan was metal shavings, havent actually torn the transmission apart yet. going to a 5speed swap, gonna tune out the stock turbo to its limit. Then i'll upgrade, either to a htafpgreen like you have, a fpblack, or just throw a 35r at it, and see how far I can really push it

hey guys my evo 8 just started idling weird...when i start it cold it keeps wanting to stall till it warms up completely and doesnt stall but rpms r at like 600? i read something about a iac<<?? on the trottle body that if it goes bad will make this problem or im thinkin just from the cold. i have 90000 on that part but the engine was built 15000 ago? any suggestions? car runs like a ramped ape tho when im driving it? i reset the computer and it fixed it for like 200 miles then it started again.

Look on the TB for the sensor and make sure the little metal clip is holding it tight. Mine came off at one point and made the car a real nightmare to start/drive...

If that doesnt help, take a small flat screw driver and turn it up a little.
