local Pittsburgh Meet
i just cant ever imagine shelling out the money for the stock advans. there are just so many better options and deals out there in my opinion. get star spec's. all you can need unless your gonna track the car every week..... really, come on.
^^
I bought the car with the Rotas already on. They are the P-1.

I have no idea what offset are on them. I haven't taken them off. I'm not quite sure if they are 7.5 or 8s.
The fenders are not rolled.

i had no problem with a 18 X9-1/2" + 30 offset with a 255/35 on my rotas
On my work wheels i got last year, the fronts are +28 offset 18 X 9-1/2" with 255/35---i had no problem with clearance here
the rears are +26 offset 18 X 9-1/2" with 255/35.....I had to roll the rear fender a little bit to fit them....
Another thing to keep in mind....not all tires of a certain size such as 255/35-18 are the same dimensionally on every angle...
The first set of falkens i have are totally different from the set of nitto 555's i got last year....so the falkens had a smaller contact patch so the sidewall was more angled and stretched looking as opposed to being more square (which requires more clearance on the fender)
well hopefully this helps
Yes tires from different manufacturer's vary greatly. I know my 265/35/18's on 18x9.5 with a +35mm offset in the rear required fender rolling. (not for the faint of heart). Still think I rub on the bumper bolt bracket sometimes. The fronts have a 15mm spacers so are basically a +20 and the 265's fit fine except for a slight rub up front under full lock. Good luck!
i had one come crashing through my awning just a little bit ago and punched a substantial hole right through it. what a nightmare.
i'll be elated when winter is over and done with.
Any Graphics Designers?
Was wondering if anyone here is/or knows a graphics designer? I have a "theme" for the race car and wanted to get someone involved with the design and application on the car.
I'd rather support someone local here to do the work rather than farm it out if at all possible
Thanks, and send me a PM!
