Cams + 8k shifts are the way to go. Especially at 13psi

when i originally started with the IX i have on the game it was setup like mine, but i kind of went hog wild with it, and now it's got over 650hp. haha.

if only my real car could follow suit.

On a side not I installed a clutch line, power flex motor mount, and buschur shifter bushing along with 2 BG II + 1 Heavy Shockproof in the trans. today (with the help of danl & his garage) and wow does it ever shift smooth......My first to second is like butter, along with every other gear. There is a little added vibration from the powerflex mount but its not bad at all for the gains it made in the way the car shifts now.

I honestly would recommend that mod to anyone....its that impressive.

Trav when you did the clutch line did you remove restrictor pill or keep it in?

There was no restrictor in mine or danl's we both did clutch lines.....guess they didn't install them from the factory? but there def. wasn't one in there

 

Interesting, What all is involved installing this mount?
