Nice new bike also! I had a FZR600 back when i was young. Yamaha makes great bikes.
it does look like a lot of fun from the you tube videos. my buddy lives out on the eastern part of the state and always heads out to this. he said there usually are a lot of sti/wrx guys, so i think i'll take the evo just to fit in

Yes it is mostly a subaru car thing for some reason. I only saw 1 evo the last time we went. Altho there were a few racing! .

Its realy cool to watch a rally cause the race cars drive on the streets just like eveyone else. I was filling up the car next to a group N subaru at the gas station. Plus all the pits and paddock are on the main green in town so you get to intermingle with the drivers and the cars.

Sounds like a really good time...just so long as we all don't drive as slow as Justin. Seriously dude, I know you're paranoid about cops/tickets, but I'm on the verge of falling asleep when following you out to various racing venues .

Count me in.

By the way, Jeremy, looking at some Stance AL+ coilovers - inverted, monotube, dual springs, 15 dampening settings, custom spring rate available (where I need advice).

Basically wondering what you would recommend for a custom spring rate. I know you experiment all the time, but what do you think would be a good compromise for daily driving/autoXing?

if you've had as many tickets as i have, you would drive slow too.

once i was even pulled over and ticketed for driving the speed limit. i couldn't figure out how that one worked, but it did.

i am very familiar with the roads we will be driving on, so there are some spots where we can cruise, and on parts of the back roads, even doing the speed limit can be hairy at times

i am sure one or two radar detectors will show up as well, to add another layer of security.

Oh, I hear you man, I really don't like thinking about how much money i've spent on tickets over the years - i'm sure its at least 1500-2000 by now. Speed limits around here are ridiculous and I refuse to obey the majority of them. I'm just fortunate that i have excellent b.s. skills - I do sales for a living, so i guess I should be good .

My shining moment was when I got pulled over twice in the same week in Mt. Lebanon: once for speeding, once for wreckless driving & racing. Talked the magistrate into only issuing me 4 points and a reduced fine for one of the tickets. If I got hit with the full fine, my license would have been revoked. If you've ever had to face Blaise Laratonda (former cop turned magistrate - worst combo ever), then you know just how bad it can be in his court room. Still brings a smile to my face when I think of my victory .
