No I understand. I have a beater incase something happens but really as long
as the car is mechanically sound the only thing the wilson track is hard on is
brakes and tires.

Wow 63k+ on a stock clutch! I only got 17k out of mine... Mostly because I beat the hell out of it... then beat the hell out my exedy stage 1 single... and now it's the twin plate's turn to get beat.

Also, welcome. Any chick who drives an evo is ok in my book. You should get together with my wife and help her understand what it's all about. She is too interested in shoes

Just curious how many miles you guys get on a full tank in your evos?

I never drive near 'E' I always fill up around 1/4 tank but at that point I'm usually around 180-190 I'd say?

Flashlight Drags

Just wanted to say that the Flashlight Drags out at Zelienople were a blast! I don't think i've ever seen a racing venue that was so laid back. I was also shocked at how many people were there. Not just those racing, but the amount of spectators was pretty ridiculous.

Happy to say that I did pretty well. I would have done a helluva lot better if I could get my car into 3rd gear . I need a new motor mount or shifter bushings or something...its really bad. My launches were so good though that most of the time slow shifting into second and third didnt really matter - especially being that it was an 1/8th mile. The only cars that got me were a beastly SRT8 Jeep (head, cam, header-back exhaust, tune + faster shifting software); a stripped out and turboed EG hatch that runs 11's on drag radials (trailored in ); and a new Mustang Shelby GT500 with upgraded pulley.

The SRT8 and I were even, but I had a slower r/t - lost by a car. The hatch and I raced best of three - I won once and couldnt get it into gear the other times. The GT500 I had through first and second gears, but could not get it into 3rd so I lost by a car or two .

The cars I took down were a stock E46 M3 (can't remember the guys name, but he was really cool and said he will be out at Wilson circuit for the next time trial), modded '02 WRX, a nearly 600hp Denali (yes, a pro-charged Denali ), and Matt's 12-sec. GTO (he's the guy that posts on here from time to time). The best part of all...my car still runs! 10+ hard launches and nothing broke! Yay! I will be posting the runs soon on Streetfire.

Trac, it was nice meeting you there. Good to see that you are posting on here now!
