Thanks for the offer , but with a family it is essential to have my own car for any situation that may occur. I really dont like them in my own Evo let alone your brand new X !!!! hahaha

alignment

make sure its done on a good machine, most people just set the toe in the front of the car... toe out in the rear can effect front tire wear......The rear toe,and camber need set perfect, then front camber, caster and last toe in the front.. I had alot of evos that came from the factor way out of alignment,,

I got my Evo back from the bodyshop yesterday with the new FMIC installed. First, thanks to everyone for the suggestions and details on fitment. Second, I was just wandering if the stock intercooler was worth anything to anyone. Very slight damage to the bottom fins. If anyone has interest or any idea of what it could be worth let me know. I could post pics if need be.

thanks

i am sure someone on evoM would be interested in picking it up. i bet there are people who have damaged their stock i/c's and for whatever reason don't want to turn it in to insurance.

search through the for sale section and see what others are selling theirs for.

Travis, will there be any trouble getting in to the event? Must I get there early, or do they have plenty of area?
No trouble at all - I would try and plan on being there by 10 (i forget what time racing starts), but if your later it doesn't matter because there is plenty of parking.

Jeff, the AMS is great thanks again! Can't beat the price either lol. I still have to cut the undertray though but I'll wait until after I take it back in to fix some stuff that was missed.

As far as the BG i dunno - I ran it for a pretty long while straight and have had it in for almost 15k mixed with Heavy SP and I have had no issues. Somethings you just never will know
I read this on another thread. I might be wrong here, but I believe there are parts in the drivetrain of the X that have brass/copper content. The difference comes when you use a phosphorus/sulphur based oil, which would cause exponentially accelerated corrosion due to the reactivity between the metal and the chemicals in the oil. If I am not wrong, the pre X models could handle the Phosphorus based oils. I tried to find the page where I found this info but was unable to.

That's why I don't want to try anything else. I know TTP just tried MT90 in their X, but that's a GL4 and I think it's too thick.

A couple of friends were getting together at Buffalo Wild Wings last night. I was over my parents house and figured i would stop up and see if they were still there. I got there too late though...
