Thanks everyone. So Dan you think a 2.3 would work better with a 30r or 20g red or green? Seems like they would be very similar im power. Now they might be different in what kinda fuel you need to get the power but.
I believe the red is very close to the capacity of the HTA30R. The HTA30 flows around 57lb./min compare to the standard 3076 maybe 52lb./min. I would think High around 570whp is capable on Q16 with the HTA30R.

I just think that a BR2.3 that can rev to 8500k , with a HTA30R would be a killer combo for your racing. feed it the Q16 and let it eat

Use it.....it will work fine for 5 and 6 speeds. Or just use one of the many options out there for the 5 speeds - as always I recommend trying a few to see what you like / don't like.

There's more to the story than that, I'm sure. You don't have to post up video's so you get booted again, but who won?

No way man, stock fluid calls for a GL-3 75W-80. I'm not about to experiment again on this car. I still swear that the BG killed my sychro's in the VIII.

I don't really want to put 400 miles on the X and Emily is working so her car's out. Unless I hitch a ride with someone it doesn't look promising. I really did want to go see it this year though.

MZ313376 - Diaqueen Super Multi Gear oil - 6 speed tranny
3775610 - Diaqeen LSD Gear oil - transfer case and rear LSD
ACH1ZC1X04 - Mitsu Power Steering Fluid
MZ311987 - Mitsu Brake Fluid
MZ311986 - Mitsu Coolant
MD356000 - Engine Oil Filter

To have the dealer just change the driveline fluids is very expensive.

Depends on what you are changing. I had them change my oil and transfer case fluid ~ $100. If you get EVERYTHING changed (oil, transmission, transfercase, rear differential)...prolly around $150 - $200.

Jeremy, I definately agree with Dan on this one. While I may not have experience firsthand, I do read a lot of magazines. Most hill climb builds are 2.3's with at least a 3076. One I read about, built for the pikes peak, runs a 2.3 3582. While I understand you're not that extreme, but from the way things are going for you you might just be on your way! You'll kick yourself later going any smaller than a 30r.

And If you're in a bind, I have a container of the Diaqueen LSD oil. I think a whole jug gets like 3 changes of TC and LSD. I only did one so far.
