Local Pittsburgh Meet

Saturday October 18, 2008
7pm waterfront behind Lowes AMC Theater
Then latter 8:30ish at Miracle mile shopping plaza.

Looks like Saturday meet is a go unless the weather sucks. We'll be meeting at the waterfront at 7pm and then roll out to Miracle Mile area about 8pm to have dinner at El Camps or mad mex.

After that we'll have some stock turbo match ups out that way that we've been trying to get set up before winter.

sorry to hear bout that though eric thats really do bad, hopefully cosworth can compensate you or something.

 

that cast iron block weighs alot. car will handle better without that anvil in the nose anyways.

I'm in for at least the Monroeville part. I Probably won't come to the waterfront. really no point. Actually, if everyone on the list is coming to Monroeville anyhow, why don't we just have the meet there? If the turnouts anything like last time, that means only a few of us.

 

Yeah I was thinking the same. What got me thinking was the DSM guys from buschur forum had posted meeting at the waterfront.

I was going to post on their forum and ask but you have to get approved to post over there.

A couple guys had also said they were in for the waterfront and I didn't want to change location without at least discussing it here.

It'd be better then last time since we'd get to check out Denny and Erics new builds. Haven't gotten a chance to see them yet.

Let me get a tune to even up with you... We could still go, but I'll almost gaurentee you'll win. On the other hand, a tuned IX vs a tuned X - that would be something.

I cant believe you guys are going to street race , and put innocent people in danger. keep it on the track . Roll racing is for losers. I mean what does it prove , that one car has more power than the other I mean who cares anyway!!!!

Dave I am having a hard time believing you dominated Mondo. Dont forget I have sat shotgun while you raced and if my memory serves me right you shift slower than my grandmother And their both dead

Oh and whoever races dave on the roll , lookout cause he will keep fockin around and wont line up so , runs will be hard to come by

found out bad batch of intake cams. Motor is fine, and will not be coming out.... should be getting my new cams from cosworth very soon.

 

An easy tie in a straight line you mean. Besides, we know how the chips fall when there are turns involved.

 

I'm sure it was the cam's fault that it snapped. Couldn't be anything else.............I mean anything..............nothing else could cause a cam to snap.....................LOL.
