This was the first time i actually felt the techs @ mitsu were working to help me, and was not hassled about my mods which inc an sri/tbe/mbc. Mike was very professional, quick, and worked with me to get the transmission job completed asap. He really knew his stuff and I would recommend Baierl for evo related issues.

Hell, they even tried to clean the dirt out of my SRI (that was caked in layers of mud), and my enkeis (caked in layers of ferodo)...

nice!!! even better that you got it covered under warranty

Quality detail shop?

Hey guys,

I just picked up a X from Baierl on Saturday and over the weekend spent some detailing the exterior.

Unfortunately, there are a more than a few surface scratches beyond my basic detailing skills (read-I don't want to screw up the paint) that need professional attention. To Baierl's credit (and likely Mike's arm twisting) they are willing to correct it.

Does anyone know of a good quality detail shop North/Northwest of the city? I'm out in Beaver, but am north of town frequently.

Any suggestions would be happily accepted

Thanks,

Patrick

BTW, the X is a very impressive car

If Baierl is going to pay to have it fixed, why wouldnt you just have their body shop run a buffer over it? If you were southeast of the city and were going private party, i could hook you up as i used to do that kind of stuff when i worked for a car dealership and know what im doing.

I'd rather have the job done in a similar fashion that people like you or Phil at Detailers Domain do customer cars rather than "just run a buffer over it" which, as you stated, the dealership would likely do....

Good point. Unfortunately, sometimes the cars that needed the attention didnt get it due to time constraints, or just the dollar value put on the job. That guy made that Porsche look gorgeous. He used some pretty high dollar materials.

Thanks to your and Travis's input and Dan's help it went as straight forward as can be expected. It's not a bad job, just very messy.

My stock clutch is getting ready to go.

Thanks again,
