I had fun last night. Met alot of new people (no clue who anyone is on here though.) lol

Tim sorry for taking off on the way home. I was getting tired as hell and jetted, plus was testing some things further down the highway. Now all the sudden I am making full boost again and the tune isnt as rich. I dont freaking get this car sometimes.

 

^^^Everyone broke there neck when I started my car and pulled out, lol. It's fun, but man do I want a quieter exhaust.

You need to track back quiet a few pages, or even the first page of this thread. We all attended the Oaks meet, near KOP. I dont think you would drive two hours to come to a local meet right? being in NJ shore and all?

It was a really good turnout, I wouldn't have guessed we would have gotten that many cars. I think if we stick to the once a month thing it will continue to grow in the future. It was nice talking to you guys, I had a good time.

I'll keep you guys posted as to my plans for Sunday. Seems like a few of us are on the fence as to what to do. I've got to talk to the wife a little more and see if I'm "allowed" to go. There I said it, happy now...

Did I mention work sucks today, I'm off the rest of the week so all I want to do is GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!

you're telling me! i had an appointment to get a bunch of skin cancer cut out on monday but now being told that it is too short of notice to take off that day and not a medical emergency. now that i am starting to be monocytotic and lymphocytotic i consider that an emergency.....for the nonmedical folk that means my body is working overtime to fight it off and possibly has spread. i am just going to come to work bleeding on monday.

i am severely pissed at the moment!!

Dude you need to stay away from Stone Harbor on the weekends... No more beach for you. I didn't know you had all this going on, I know you had mentioned it before but I had no idea it was getting worse. Sucks... Hopefully you can get all this taken care of before it gets really out of hand. I lost a friend to skin cancer about ten years ago. She kept it a secret and didn't seek the proper treatment, she paid the ultimate price in the end. Can't mess around when it comes to that stuff. Good Luck moving forward.

 

I'm glad to hear it was a good turnout. It was raining pretty good so i just started working on the car. By the time i was done it stopped so i went for a little cruise around my way and then came back home for dinner. It was to late to make the drive out by that time. There's always next time i guess, next month should be good for meets/shows/events so i can't wait.

 

Pete do you have any info on your car cover. Some are expensive

 

thanks. i swear i am married to this retarded job. i was basically told since i am a one man show here that taking off will require bringing in agency help or per diem staff which costs a lot of money. and since the health system is cutting back in all areas it is in their best financial interest to have me work every day of the year because it is cheaper.

i put in for a week off at the end of the month in february and found coverage for only two days. so i was told that i could go only on those two days. i will probably be fired at the end of the month for taking the whole week.

let's not forget that this is illegal. I am the only employee in the hospital with 190 vacation hours.

i am like melvin from office space only i say "**** it" 2pm and go home most days.
